Hi guys! I hope you all are doing well! Im so excited to share this new creation with you!
I made a poll awhile back, and according to the voting result, play telephone was the most requested objects. I will be making all the objects, the poll was to help me to know which one to do first!
This is the concept art I created for all the objects, Im hoping each object will take no longer than 2 weeks to create, but then again it all depends on the complexity of the object as well as how much time the animation takes.
so lets get into it!
the play telephone has 8 swatches,
Toddler sim can do a number of interactions.
"play telephone" allows them the play, you will see them pushing the buttons, smacking the handset, and occasionally speaking into the handset. This interaction increases their imagination skill.
They will get a moodlet at the end
the other 3 calling options allows them to make pretend calls, they will speak into the telephone and get a moodlet at the end. This interaction increases both imagination and communication skill
Finally, adult and child sims can teach toddlers to speak with the play telephone
This will help their communication skill increase faster than making pretend calls by themselves. And everyone gets a moodlet at the end

Fixed an issue that caused the package file to not open when using S4S Star or TSRW

Fixed a bug so that you can no longer hear the toddler when you are on the other side of the house.
Re-did some of the audio so the chatter sounds less repetitive.

Hi, I love your mods, but I’ve noticed a small thing: the moodlets are showing up with little horse icons for me. It seems like something is missing related to the moods. Anyway, your mod works perfectly, but these moodlets that come with horse icons don’t show the proper effects. I just wanted to ask if maybe I forgot to install some complementary file, or if that’s just how it is?
Do you mean the llamas? It usually just means there isn't an icon, it's the default picture asset in game. It can definitely mean something is broken though, what do you mean when you say it doesn't show the proper effects?
I haven't had toddlers in awhile, and some of your toddler stuff is also infant age appropriate in real life, so I was wondering if you've converted anything to let infants play with them too? Specifically toys that were around in the 80's

WOW, my toddler just LOVED this phone, and her skills shot up like crazy while she played with it. Plus, I love all the moodlets and options -- so well thought out and detailed; I think it's my favorite kids' toy. Well, I love your play kitchen, too, of course... :-)
It's wonderful to see them having fun with it, thank you for that. I noticed that when the toddler phones, I go to talk about the basement, you can hear her from the toddler, as if he was the Sim being played, so he's far out on the lot. Can you reduce the distance of the voice on the phone? The toddler's voice rises above the ongoing conversation of the Sims being played. Thanks again for everything you ;)

I love this! I’m always looking for new things for my toddlers and a toy phone is such a fun addition to the game. Thanks! One thing I’ve noticed though is that my maid keeps putting it in the toy box and I’m not sure if that’s intentional?
well yes since its technically a toy, I can change it tho if it seems annoying or inconvenient?

Oh wow! This is amazing! I remember owning a play phone that looked almost exactly like the red/white swatch when I was a kid! I love when that kind of realism can be added into the sims :') thank you for all your hard work!
When my toddler played with the phone, her cat and dog came running over to her and started meowing and barking as if to join in the conversation. Thank you for your professional work on these amazing objects. If I may make a suggestion, would it be possible for the toddler to pretend to call grandparents? I think that would be extra adorable.

You have no idea how excited I am 😭 I was having a bad day until I saw this. My sim just had a cute blue alien toddler and I can’t wait for him to play with this. Your changing table and other items are so good, you’re literally better than the sims themselves lol. Like you make stuff I wish they’d give us. Please make the other objects too if you have time, either way, you’ve got a supporter here!
