Hello guys! After weeks of sleepless nights I finally finished this pack and I cannot be more excited. Aside from the cow mod, this is probably the most complex pack I have ever made, I created a total of 55 animation clips just for this pack D :
here are all the objects introduced one by one:
Rock-a-Stack
This is a toddler only object and it comes in 7 swatches. I made it because it is the most basic toy a toddler can have yet it is missing in the sims4 :/
if a toddlers thinking skill is level 1-2, they wont be able to stack correctly (see image on the right)
if their thinking skill is level 3 or higher, then they will stack it correctly.
they will get one of two moodlets depending on their skill level:
Xylophone
This was suggested by one of my patreon, and I had a lot of fun making it! Especially when I was recording the sound using garage band lol It was a lot of work getting those sound ready but it is totally worth it!
Again this object is tied to thinking skill. Toddler with a thinking skill of 1-2 will play short tunes and are more likely to hit a single note at a time. Toddler with a thinking skill of 3 or higher will play recognizable tunes!
And they will get one of two moddlets depending on their skill level:
Toddler Drawing Supply
there are a total of 8 drawings a toddler can make by themselves. yes I added "draw corona" as an option, because kids are random and its my way to remember this crazy year and a half we have had.
when a toddler is drawing alone, adult sims can click on them and "encourage" them
they will then stand near by and mentor them, this will increase their relationship and increase parenting skill if you have the parenthood pack.
occasionally the adult might get a "great teacher" moodlet.
sims of ALL ages can help a toddler sim draw
This will allow the toddler to create unique drawings that they can't do by themselves!
there are a total of five unique drawings. I dont want to spoil what these drawings look like :D
once they are done the helper will get a moodlet like this if they are a toddler or a child
or a moodlet like this if they are teen-elder.
the toddler that did the drawing will get a moodlet like this.
you can also name the drawing once you are done.
if you do that, you will see the name appear when you hover over the drawing.
annnnnnd if your toddler is very hungry.....(their hunger has to be red)
an option called "eat crayon" will appear, your toddler might do this autonomously as well, so watch out!
they will proceed to eat a crayon...
and get a tummy ache D :
it does fill their hunger a tiny little bit tho
Toddler Crafting Station
finally, the toddler crafting station.
there are a total of 5 things they can craft, each is unlocked with a higher level of imagination skill. spoiler alert, the thing on the bottom right is possibly the best cutest thing I have ever made, seeing it in game was the best moment of my entire modding process for this project.
two of the objects can be played with like a toy, the other 3 are just decorative objects.

The last two months has been crazy, not getting the changing table to work after spending a whole month on it was really hard on me. I hate feeling like I wasted my time : ( but Im not giving up yet, I will spend another week on it and see if I can solve the issue I was having, because I just hate not being able to finish my projects lol

Fixed a tuning error in the toddler crafting table that was created by the Home Chef patch Update, Only the toddler crafting table needs to be updated, the other objects are unaffected

Fixed the french translations for toddler drawing supply
07.20.2021 Toddler drawing pad updated for cottage living update, all other files in this pack are unaffected, to update just re-download the drawing pad file from this post and replace the old file in your mods folder.

I am new to CC and just downloaded Snooty Sims bulk pack and was wondering why there were so many features that said they were functional but wouldn't work, turns out you were the key! I'm so excited to go properly use the bunk beds and xylophones now you are MAGIC!!
hello - i am having issues with this pack causing my sims to freeze when they use it (especially the crafting station) after the latest patch. Are there known conflicts or updates coming soon for this? I love this pack
hi! there are no known conflict and no update coming, as there are no evidence from both my game play and recent sims update patch notes to suggest it can cause freezing

Hi love! I just wanted to let you know that this mod has been freezing my game :( I did a 50/50 and identified that anytime the toddler creativity pack was in my game, my game would glitch about ten to twenty seconds into playing in live mode. This has never happened before with any of your mods, so I thought you might want to know about it. Thank you for all you do!
Hi thanks for reporting but it sounds like you are experiencing the freezing issue from base game. Sims team specifically released an update to fix freezing issues a few weeks ago
Hi PandaSama! This is amazing. Is there a drawing pad version which regular kids (not only toddlers) can also use? I remember drawing on the floor when I was a kid, so it would be nice if that could happen too. Thanks again for your hard work :-)

hi I downloaded your mod but It is not showing up. I even checked the mod scripts and the mods are not there. Where can I find them in the build or buy section of the game. I am a new sims player.
hi if you downloaded better build and buy make sure you have cc enabled in buy mode. Otherwise not showing up just means the files are not placed in your mods folder
Hi! I've been trying to get the xylophone, but when I have it in my folder the game will not start. Any ideas what's happening?
hi, if you are getting a message the file is corrupt try moving the file out of any subfolders and put it directly in mods, or try changing the name of the file slightly
just an idea you should do but i havent tried the mod out yet (which i SHOULD do lol) because toddlers like think of that as a donut you should make them to try to eat it as an animation but they taste rubber so they put it back down- only if you want to

I am running into an issue with the Toddler Crafting Station, it was causing my game to freeze or get stuck with no end in sight. Tried it twice same results, took out the file for the toddler crafting station and no more issues.
Can you put it back and see if it still freezes, I don’t think taking out the file was what fixed your game, rather it was the fact you restarted your game when taking it out
I received LE, we broke some games. Pandasama_toddler_drawing_supply.package Delete it from your mods folder or see if the author has an updated version.
BE throws inaccurate reports sometimes, it does so by scanning all object on your sims lot and blame it on the last object it sees. Thats is why you are getting a report saying it’s broken
im wondering if its possbile for infants to play with the rock a stack and maybe xylophone? It would be so cute

I started playing Sims 2 in 2005 (age 37) after giving it and University as a gift for Christmas for my then-11 y.o. daughter. She didn't really care much for the Sims (she liked Harry Potter games better :D) so my other daughter, N, (aged 6) and I started playing it. And we both LOVED IT!! Needless to say, we have been playing ever since. I've found S4 kinda boring, so I usually play Sims 3. I am really looking forward to playing with your Toddler mods, in the hopes that it will make S4 more fun. That's the reason I joined your Patreon. The mods will be adding all sorts of fun, learning activities to the game and I am thrilled to be able to try them. N, who is now engaged and has an 8 m.o. daughter, plays Sims 4 nearly every day (so she says, but I think she plays every day xD) saw lilsimsie's YouTube post about your Toddler Mods and told me about it. I really might cry. I want so badly for my toddlers to have more options and honestly, just the basketball hoop and rocking horse already made the game infinitely better. This is just so incredible and well thought out. THEY CAN AUTONOMOUSLY EAT CRAYONS! I just upped my pledge because you absolutely deserve more each month and it's the least I can do!
