Modding Diary - Poll Result + What Im up to

It is pretty clear the baby health check ups is getting the most votes, with the terminal illness one being a close second. so baby health checkups is what I will be working on next,☺️ I already started doing some back end research this week, but I dont have anything fun to show just yet because as usual nothing works on the first try 😬 Also I love all the ideas on the poll, I will likely work on all of them one by one, the poll just helps me understand what to focus on first. And I heard some of your concerns regarding to the health mod; I know there are already mods out there who adds health issues, and I wouldnt work on something unless I feel like i have something meaningful to add. For example I want to make wheelchair usage possible with certain conditions, I want sims to go through actual cancer treatments at the hospital, and maybe even adding cpr and open heart surgery for heart conditions. And I know some of you experience stuff like that irl and dont want it in your game so when I do work on that mod I will probably make each condition a separate file, that way you dont even need to have it in your game. I hope this clears everything up!

Now that is out of the way, this week I did started crossing some stuff off my todo list:

The first thing is I added unique ultrasound screen animations for sims who are having twins and triplets ☺️I know many of you have been asking for this for a long time, my apologies for the long wait! It took me a while to find the appropriate footage, and took me another while to remember how to convert videos to the weird sims4 format. Here is the screen for twins:

While working on the last update for the drama generator I figured out a way to correct the long over due ""name changing" bug that sometimes happens when sims give birth. Many of you probably have experienced this at some point where the baby has a different name than the one they are given. While I still dont know what causes it and suspect it might be an issue with the game itself, I found a way that allows you to change the baby's name after they are born.

This way you can just rename them and change the name back if it is wrong.

This was tested multiple times and on different conditions to make sure the name not only stays but also doesnt cause issues in game.

Last but not least Ashley and I have finished another CC pack, this time we made a modern bedroom set! ☺️I think this is absolutely gorgeous, Im working on getting them into the game right now and hopefully will have it ready in the next week or two!
