Modding Diary - Upcoming CC pack + More adoption/foster interactions

Hi guys! Hope you all are doing well! ☺️

First I would like to show you this hospital cc pack Ashley and I have been working on. All the objects are finished as of today and I just need to work on some tagging next week and it will be available for download. I think Ashley did a great job putting these objects together and I can't wait to see you guys put them to use in your build!💗

And here is what I did this week for the abandoned baby mod:

I added an interaction called "Argue About the Adoption" that sims can use with their SO when one of them is angry about the adoption

Once they have the argument they can try and make peace again, but there's a chance it will turn into another argument lol

However if they are successful it will remove all the negative moodlets and allow them to move forward without necessarily changing their stance

Then I went back to the fostering route and added an interaction called "Gush About The Baby Together" that sims can use after they first bring the baby home (they should be able to use this after adoption too)

And depending on how the other sim feel about fostering the baby you will receive different moodlets and notifications

And if you gush about the baby with a SO who didnt want to keep the baby you will get a negative moodlet

Sims will also get different moodlets when taking care of the fostered baby. Sims who didnt want this will get a negative moodlet about how much they dread having to be responsible for the baby

and sims who wanted to foster will get a moodlet about how they are starting to grow attached.

That is all I did this week. Next week I will work on the interactions that allow sims to tell their child about the adoption. The idea is that you can start talking about the adoption with them when they are a toddler, or you can tell them about it later when they are older but they might have a harder time accepting it. Or you can not tell them about it at all. If you choose to not tell them there's a chance (maybe like 20% chance?) the birth parent or a relative might reach out to the child one day and reveal the truth, which might make it difficult for the child to accept.

Im working hard to get this finished next month, because I really like to move on to the next module (runaway child) for the drama generator mod.😵‍💫This wasn't supposed to take this long but I really underestimated how much detail is needed for a mod like this.
