Modding Diary - The Final Stretch

 Hi Guys! I hope you all are well! I am this close 🤏to finishing up this update lol

Thank you all for the amazing suggestions you all gave me last week, I tried to take them in as much as possible but because I am very close to releasing this update I was only able to make the easier/less time consuming ones at this time. However I am keeping all your good suggestions in mind and I will be tackling them in future updates!

This week I cleaned up a ton of loose ends and bugs

I also added some social interactions for when other sims visit you at the hospital

besides receiving congratulations which you already saw last week,  you can now also share your birth experience, discuss baby care and receive a greeting card from them

when discussing baby care with another sim, there is a 30% chance your sim will get a moodlet afterwards, the majority of time it will be a positive moodlet from getting sage advice. there are a total of 8 moodlets (4 positive and 4 stressed)

 

but they may also get a bad advice that stress out your sim, the chances of getting a bad advice is much higher if you are discussing baby care with someone you have a difficult family dynamic with. This interaction and moodlets was suggested by Kelly from my post last week, so thank you Kelly! I had a lot of fun creating it! 😘

 

Next your sim can receive greeting cards from the visitors. they may do so autonomously but you may also trigger it manually. This interaction was suggested by Cassy98, thank you Cassy! I would love to add more gifting options in the future(like the flowers and toys or onesies you suggested), but for now we just have cards.

There are a total of 13 different designs

and there are also a total of 13 different congratulations. You can also see who the card was from when hovering over it, this part took me forever and a half to figure out 🥲

 

 

 I also added the cheat interaction that allows you to trigger family visit immdiately

Finally here is an interaction of me testing all my incubator swatches to make sure they are working correctly

I have a few more bugs to iron out then I need to do some final testings. But so far everything has gone very smoothly! I am hoping to have the update out by next Tuesday or Wednesday the latest. I am definitely gonna be putting some extra hours in this weekend to speed up the process. And if no major bugs are discovered I may even be able to release it sooner! Thank you all so so much for your patience!
