Hey everyone,
I know I’ve been a bit quiet lately, and I want to explain why. There were some deals and decisions I was waiting to finalize, and I really prefer not to share things until they’re set in stone. You may have noticed that I paused Patreon billing recently. That was intentional. I didn’t want anyone being charged during a period of uncertainty.
Now, I have one piece of not-so-great news… and a few really exciting ones.
Let’s start with the bad: I won’t be releasing the planned update just yet. But don’t worry—I’ll explain the reason behind that with the good news.
First up: our team is growing! Thanks to the success on Steam, I’ve been able to put together a proper dev team of five incredibly talented artists. One of them is someone many of you already know—Fenriz is officially back on the project. Along with three new amazing additions, we’re setting up a rock-solid pipeline for what comes next. And there’s one more person I’m super excited about: a very talented friend of mine, who’s currently wrapping up his own project. Once that’s released, he’ll be joining our team as well!
Now for the best part: we’ve designed a brand new, much more expansive system for Season 2. Development on it has already begun, but it’s going to take some time to bring it to life. During this period, I’ll keep billing paused. I’ll still be posting small updates. These will mostly be early prep content and behind-the-scenes progress—but billing will remain off until we’re ready to deliver major content again.
Going forward, thanks to the support we’ve gained from the Steam release, I plan to keep Patreon billing off by default unless it’s truly necessary. I want to make sure you’re not the ones carrying the burden of development. You’ve done more than enough already.
I know this approach might not please everyone, but I truly believe it’ll be worth it. Season 2 will launch with a whole new energy and a whole new arc—and I think it’s going to feel amazing for both you and us.

Does anyone know what happened to the developer or have any news about the development of LISC? He said he would post informative updates about the game, but then he disappeared. He abandoned it.

We'll have to imagine our own version of how it all ended. MC married Iris, but he also saw Lauren from time to time. That's a good ending .🥹🕊️

Another abandoned game
During DIK's long production process, I didn't see you guys in a hurry. I think a major update is needed for Season 2, which requires updates and production, so a hiatus of several months or even longer is normal. You should be offering your blessings instead of blaming them here.
Yeah, difference there is Dr Pink posts weekly updates, so we KNOW the game is still being worked on. That guy communicates with his players more than any other dev I've seen. LISC dev has been totally silent for nearly a year. Nothing here or on the Discord.

rumor has it that their new dev name is Faerin and making a game called Midnight Sin, unsure if its true or not, but id love to see a S2 of LISC!

its very unfortunate that the devs are not communicating with anyone especially since its been almost a year. I really enjoyed the game alot but not seeing any progression or basically anything on a season 2 is disappointing

It's funny how whenever a dev says "I'll still be posting small updates," they disappear and never communicate again.
It’s honestly just sad how many developers don’t give a damn about their supporters anymore and completely go radio silent, sweeping everything under the rug. A short paragraph about the current situation wouldn’t hurt anyone. Last time, they were still talking about the team growing and having big plans, and now there’s just nothing at all. Embarrassing, really.
Don't know if Fenris is the same as Fenriz, but Fenris died so that could be affecting some stuff.
Hope you continue with LISC soon. One of the best ive seen so far.
The first season is very exciting. Please add Ukrainian language at leastin the second season for the fans.

this too sad Heart Problems and LISC is actually the most good Adult novel out there because of their story and called it crazy but Fap material is just peak... I just hope they don't abandoned the game. The game is literally a generational run along side with Heart Problems by Xenorav. Abandoning a master piece is actually crazy! SO DON'T ABANDONED update us so we can help financially! AND TRUST ME focus on MILF STORY i got hooked up with Lauren and I just want a story with her!

I think in the original concept of the game the main character was related to the women in the house, but after editing the relationship changed

Welcome back Fenriz. Hope you convince Moody to communicate more. It's been a desert round here... Fenriz coming back is the best piece of news here and I'm happy you have some help again. All the other stuff is filling me with quite a little doubt and fear about the future of this project. 1. Not having a release soon is pretty bad. I feel we endured a long period of waiting for a re-work that never came, hearing stuff about releases every 2 months, and then waiting some more for the Steam release. Now it's been half an year since the last release of new content and we have no clue when more content is coming. I appreciate pausing the billing, but still feels bad. Do you have any estimates about when we will see new content? 2. The new and expansive system is a little scary. I understand if you feel the game system need updating, but the attempted re-work hasn't left a good impression. 3. Posting small updates means no more previews of future content? 4. It's starting to feel like the STEAM success means that patreon is being sidelined. People keep asking for walkthroughs and about relationship between characters and all we hear is silence. Pausing billing here is really nice, but I hope you won't start catering 100% just to the steam crowd. PS: I'm also confused about in what shape this new content will come as. Will you release more content for Season 1, or will the next release be directly Season 2? Best of luck and please try to communicate more. Not keeping us in the dark months at a time is the best way to have happy Patreons.

Welcome back Fenriz and hello to the other's,we will see how it will work out but for me since the update last year and the changed prologue and with the last update last december (i can't get the steam version) the most important part of the game changed,the relations between the mc and the girls.Sad to say but if it will stay like it is now LISC has lost much of my love i had all the years of my support,i hope there is a change back possible.
This was such a great game to start with but so many sacrifices were made for the Steam release it really had a negative impact. Of course that wouldn't have been so bad if the Patreon version stayed true to it character but it didn't, Dev decided to make them one and the same and as such, ruined something that had a lot of potential. I'm treating this game as abandoned because the completed version is not the same game that I started playing and fell in love with. Certainly not interested in season 2

Your work is very good, man. As soon as it came out on Steam, you had to change several things. The truth is, it didn't affect me much except for Charlotte's appearance, but it's understandable. I can continue like this. What I don't understand is why changing the following 3 songs by ashamaluevmusic "Blue Sky", "Quiet", and "World Peace" were more than perfect for Iris and Lauren. Were there copyright issues or something?
