🌸 This May on Patreon: A Little Mt. Komorebi Fresh-Up 🌸

This month, I’m giving one of The Sims 4’s most atmospheric worlds a little love. Mt. Komorebi is getting two brand-new, fully playable community builds that celebrate contrast, culture, and character:

🏠 5-3-1 Shinrinyoku – A Traditional Family Home

Nestled on a 30x20 lot in the heart of Mt. Komorebi, this peaceful home blends minimalist Japanese design with warm, lived-in touches. It features three bedrooms (including a cozy teen room), a traditional tatami tea room, a space for yoga and meditation, a private sauna, and even an outdoor hot spring. Surrounded by a dense, leafy garden, the house is made to slow you down and breathe deeply – inspired by the Japanese concept of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing).

🎮 Karaoke & Arcade – A Chaotic Neon Playground

Step into a four-level haven of overstimulation and endless fun! This venue combines the sharp lines of Tadao Ando's brutalist minimalism with chaotic graffiti, neon lights, vintage signage, and traditional Asian elements, creating an electric atmosphere unlike any other. The spacious main bar sets the tone, while two private karaoke rooms offer a more intimate vibe. The large karaoke stage, complete with gallery seating and a cozy shisha lounge, is perfect for group performances and chill hangouts. For the gaming enthusiasts, there's a dedicated area with six high-performance PCs, plus a console corner for laid-back couch gaming. Fun extras like table tennis, a basketball hoop, and game tables keep the energy high, while public restrooms, a snack bar, and arcade machines provide all the necessities to keep you going. Outside, an Asian snack bar and street food vendors serve up delicious bites in a lively outdoor plaza.
