Demons Within Update 14 is OUT for Patreon!
Update 14 of Demons Within is now officially OUT early on Patreon!
To get the new Update files, if you have connected your Patreon account to Itch.io, you can always access it at:

And it's my great pleasure to announce that, despite thinking that we wouldn't do it in time, Update 14 does launch with full Chinese language support as well!
However, people who are on Patreon through gifting from the fanart contest or any other methods that didn't involve paying will not be able to get the new build through itch. That is because of the weird way Itch and Patreon work together. For those people or for whoever prefers it that way, you can also download the new build on the #build-releases channel on Discord!
I urge everyone to keep any talk about the new update to the #patreon-spoiler-talk channel on Discord to avoid spoiling anyone who can't play it right away or the people who don't have access to the Patreon-only build just yet. Remember that this is an early access of the update, and it won't be available to the public until Update 15 comes out! This is especially true this time, as Update 13 of Demons Within is also only becoming public next Monday! So for a few days, you'll be TWO updates ahead! Don't spoil your friends!

I just installed the latest update and then played until the end of the available content. However, now trying to load any of my save files the game crashes with "An exception has occurred." I really don't want to play the entire game from the beginning, especially if it might just happen again. Is there a way to fix this? I'm on Android.
Hey! Sorry to hear that :( I haven't heard reports of this happening before. Could you give me a little more information? I'll do my best to help, if I can! We had an overhaul of the Essence Wheel tbag unfortunately did break a few saves, but that overhaul has happened on version 13, which is public right now, so updating to version 14 on Patreon shouldn't have that issue. Does that happen when you load any saves? Even saves you have made in this version of the game? Also, if possible, could you get a screenshot of the exception error that you get? You can PM me privately here and we can see about the screenshot or, if possible, post it on the #patreon-bug-reports channel in the Discord server and I'll do my best to help you out. Sorry again for the inconvenience!

This update can be completed within less than 10 minutes and includes two branches of Edwin and Ludwig. It feels a bit perfunctory！😠
Sorry you feel that way. I avoid too many branches in the story exactly so they don't take too much time for content that might not be seen. The events that follow this are plentiful and we're preparing a lot of things for them, so if all of it had been one single update there would be no update for a long, long time
