Elemental Fan Meetup

Back in June, we went to see Elemental and invited Cinema Therapy fans to join us! We loved the movie and loved hanging out with y'all... and crying together. Damn you, Pixar!

I hope you guys do one of these again! I wasn't able to go to this but it would be awesome to watch a movie with you guys and other fans of the show!

Some day I hope to make it to a movie with you both and get to cry in real time with Alan.

It’ll happen. We’re gonna be around a long, long time.

Well my daughter made it into this video and if you look closely you can see my other daughters legs and the very top of my wife's head. I'm nowhere to be seen.

I am a huge fan of both of you! However, I have a degree in psychology so I actually learn much more from Alan than I do Jono (who does an excellent job at applying concepts in ways I havent considered before). But because of Alan: 1) I appreciate movies, stories telling and the art of film craft much more because of Alan's insights. 2) I also appreciate how vulnerable Alan is about his own struggles, it makes Jono's insights much more powerful. 3) Finally, I appreciate having someone cry at the exact same things I cry at. My partner is a lovely man but by temperate rarely cries, so I find it validating to be crying with Alan.

I live, but to serve! 🙄 But seriously. Thank you for your kind words, and sincere thoughts. It’s validating to have someone to cry with! (My partner’s also the more stoic type.)

Alan, it's not weird that you have fans. That's your imposter syndrome talking. You made (are making) a wonderful thing and have expertise on a particular subject that you chose to share your opinons on. Thank you for that.
