A League of Their Own could be at least 3 episodes and is a fantastic movie
Hi! im new here, is there a way we can put in recommendations?
There's a Discord channel that opens every few months you can put suggestions in through. They also track suggestions on YT
As an Aussie (Tasmanian) who was partially inspired to get into biology by Sam Neill's Dr Alan Grant, I deeply need psychology of a hero Dr Alan Grant. I'm currently studying a double bachelor for marine zoology and evolutionary genetics, the reason I'm doing so is because I grew up watching movies like Jurassic Park and seeing amazing people like Sir Sam Neill play Alan Grant and Luara Dern play Ellie Sattler. There was a deep sadness that extinction was forever, I felt that locally in knowing I'll never see a Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacine). They brought to the screen the dream of being scientists who had to face both themselves, their ideas of who they were, and the idea of seeing creatures they'd only dreamed about and seen the remnants of. I truly believe that was only possible because of the personality brought into acting by Sir Sam Neill and his colleagues. As a long term fan of Cinema Therapy, it would be a dream for this video to brought into being.
Sorry for the long emotional vent, but TLDR: Jurassic Park? YES PLEASE!!!
As soon as I saw the Jurassic Park option, I couldn't stop thinking about Sam Neill. I've been watching movies for four decades and will miss him and cherish the memories of his performances forever. The biggest compliment I can pay to any actor is that they elevate any movie they perform in, because there aren't many who can do this continually. He was one of the few who could, and he did it beautifully - and in a wide variety of roles and genres too, from high fantasy to a Russian submarine. I'll never forget.
I think Jurassic Park would happen regardless, so I'm voting for Toph
Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Sound of Music second choice
All great choices
At risk of sounding ignorant, what is ATLA?
Avatar the Last Airbender 😊.
I picked Jurassic Park because I suggested it myself, and I feel like with Sam Neil's passing, it seems appropriate to do this one in the near future
Coolness, that's the suggestion that I picked, there's so much to learn from it.
I wish I could pick more than one as well but I absoloutely love Jurassic Park and I hope it gets picked!
Its an odd feeling picking something and hoping to get out voted.
Roger Rabbit all the way
I picked Jurassic Park because I'm absolutely stunned it hasn't been done already. That poster has been sitting on Alan's wall for some time now. That said, all of them should totally be done.
Ditto, I was torn between JP and Roger Rabbit. I'm surprised that they haven't really discussed either on the channel thus far.
I'm stuck between Roger Rabbit, Sound of Music and Jurassic Park. It's a shame that you can only pick one.
It’s hard not choosing Jurassic Park. Feels like I’m betraying my childhood.
Curse my inability to vote for all!!
