I can't wait to see what you guys say for Project Hail Mary! I'm excited to see if you guys touch on Ryland's cowardice and him finding someone to be brave for in Rocky.
PHM meant almost as much as Wake Up Dead Man was for Jon
Amaze amaze amaze
Rocky gets to see human technology, amaze amaze amaze!
So hard to choose between Jumanji and A Knight's Tale!
I wanna pick them all!! But regarding Muppet Treasure Island, fun fact I very recently learned. I think we all know of and some of us have even mentioned the meme that says Michael Caine was a success in Muppet Christmas Carol because he saw the Muppets as fellow actors, while Tim Curry in Muppet Treasure Island saw himself as a Muppet. That is not actually true. The man himself wrote in his memoir Vagabond "Absolutely not. The extraordinary thing about them is they are all characters in their own right and you should treat them as such. They are actors, each filled with their own distinct characteristics and foibles and all of our very human traits."
I'm torn between A Knight's Tale, Jumanji and Muppet Treasure Island. It's a shame that you can only pick one!
Oh golly, those are all banger choices!
I like when you do movies I haven't seen. That way, I'll know for sure if I want to based on what your theme for the episode is. And if Alan gets especially emotional.
