What a beautiful tribute to your parents' marriage! From a psychological standpoint, healthy relationships are built on consistent emotional connection, mutual respect, and the intentional practice of care — exactly what you described with their daily 15-minute check-ins and weekly dates. 🗓️ The way they treated each other with gentleness, forgave openly, and stayed present during hard times shows that lasting love requires both tenderness and active repair work. 💞 Their example proves that small, consistent acts of appreciation truly make love last a lifetime! 😊
Such an inspiring video, Jono. Thank you for sharing your parents' super special love story. 😍💕
You are so welcome! - J.
Regarding "Five love languages", I always considered it to be some "fake psychology", but after watching your videos I decided to take a test and asked my husband to do it, and then I realised that many misunderstandings we have could be explained by the differences in our love languages :D So it's quite helpful!
Thank you! Again, very helpful construct! - Jono
Thank you for sharing, Jono! Indeed, it is not that often you meet a couple that stays happy for the long time, it is so nice to hear such stories, and the photos are super sweet <3
