I think Sonic has enough votes to at least merit consideration! Do one for Knuckles too!!
All of the suggestions that make it to the top 5 are kept around for consideration for future episodes 😊. I've read through many comment sections asking for these episodes, too, so I imagine there's a good chance it'll happen. We'll see!
Still waiting on those Clue and Rocky Horror episodes. :)
Clue got 15 votes this time around in Discord! Almoooost close to the top 5, but not quite. I keep monitoring for it lol.
Truman Show! There’s so much meat to chew there.
I will also say that I love that we have two very different eras of Jim Carrey on this poll. It would be amazing to have him as a guest on the show for a Psychology of an Actor episode. Dude has been through so much.
Voting results are interesting: I'd have thought for sure this would be Sonic in a landslide due to recency bias
If this poll were open to all Patrons, I imagine that would be the case. However, since this is for Directors and Studio Execs, I feel like the general age range of those who can afford these tiers is older than those who likely went to see it 😜. It's a working theory of mine, and it's proven to be mostly true based on what movies have won here in the past lol.
Idk why I just don't find Bradgelina interting on screen or off. I remember seeing that movie in theaters as a kid and just being... Bored. Now, Salt is an Angelina brain bomb movie I can get behind.
Throwing my vote in for Mr. and Mrs. Smith! I'll be honest, my heart is still with Zorro ❤️. I'll keep suggesting it until it happens 😊.
SOON At the very least I'll jam out to the M&MS (ha) soundtrack at work for some good vibes today. 🤘🤘
I actually really dislike Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, but still voting in solidarity with those I know love this movie! 💜
You da real MVP 🤘.
