DIRECTOR'S CUT: Mormons React to HERETIC with directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods

What is the value of questioning your beliefs? How do you recognize confirmation bias?

Licensed therapist Jonathan Decker and filmmaker Alan Seawright react to Heretic with the directors, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods! They’re all taking a look at the psychology of belief and confirmation bias. Jonathan and Alan share how they feel about their faith being depicted in this film. Jonathan explains why it’s healthy to question everything, and Alan asks about navigating a beefy script and the delicate balance between humor and horror. The directors talk about how they crafted the film, especially the ending, as a conversation starter.
