Are we sure that Jono doesn't have ADHD? Just wondering.... neurodivergent people tend to be friends with other neurodivergent people...
Oh, I have ADHD.
Is there a Too Long: Didn't Watch version? Or is it worth it to watch the full 30 minutes?
Worth the watch because the guys are always great. Basic message was that Ashes to Ashes proved to be a much larger project than anticipated. They want to do right by the story, so they're going to continue working on it, but it won't be the movie that will be made and released this year. Instead, the AI dating short story will be done this year and Ashes to Ashes will be pushed to be a next year release 😊.
Honestly, I'm so happy to see you guys staying true to your vision and not rushing this movie. I feel like so often these days creators and companies sacrifice quality for a quick release, because they feel that is the only way to keep an audience. I'm more than happy to continue supporting you guys despite this setback. MeetU was my close second choice anyway! So excited for it. Thank you ALL for your hard work! 💖💖
Question, can we recommend actors we know to see if they fit the role? I've been supporting an LA-based actor on Patreon for years and would love to recommend her to see if she'll be great fit.
Absolutely! Be sure to get back to us when we start casting (late this year/early 2025). -alan

First and foremost, I have to give credit to TrashPandaKitty for the awesome “Ashes to Ashes” idea. I’m glad they want to give the idea the resources and time it deserves, and I’ll keep rooting for it to be brought to life in due time. That noted, oh my gosh! When I pitched my idea what seems like ages ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But it’s so exciting to hear that MeetU will be brought to life! Best of luck to everyone who’ll be involved!
Thank you! We've been working on script, character, and overall story this week and we're getting really excited to see how it's taking shape! Can't wait to share more with you!
If we all pitch in $20 wouldn’t that get you close?
You're all already giving so much! Don't worry, we'll get there!
Best of luck on the new project❣️ I believe you will smash it. 💪✨🏅
MeetU is an awesome idea and I can’t wait to see it. I know a lot of patrons voted for it and will be very excited to see it made as well. I’m also glad to see a resolution for Ashes to Ashes. Especially for Alan. Just watching the updates made me feel awful and stressed me out for having even submitted it if I’m frank. I cannot wait to see MeetU and watch the behind the scenes as it’s made as well. I know it will be awesome 💞
We still LOVE your story and are committed to making it happen - just taking our time to make sure we do it right!
Darn, I missed the live. Totally excited to see both short films. I'd really love to see the scripts, just to read on my own, if that's possible.
This is great news and I'm absolutely fine with it. Honestly just give me that David movie XD I love him, he is hilarious. Getting videos like this is a warm blanket for my soul. Just let me watch Jono and Alan giggle their heads off it's adorable and contagious. Keep up your great work and have fun, take your time and take care :]
Excited we’ll get a chance to see your take on the MeetU idea ☺️
do a grass carpet and make it a barefoot premiere
i'm cool with this! i'd rather have high quality, so i commend the exec decision. go get it!! 🎉 Edit: just noticed...Alan's title is Herr Direktor 😄😂😂🤣
I've been calling him that for years. -Jono
A pleasure, as always! Thanks for making me get really weird looks at work for unexpectedly busting out laughing 🤣.
Dadpool and WolverAlan is an all-timer. Great job!
Oh weird. On desktop, it shows the countdown from YouTube until we go live. Doesn’t show that on mobile. We’ll have to chat with Patreon about that.
I hit the play button and thought it was going to start rolling, got mad at my phone for being slow, then realized you're going live 🤦♀️ TGIF
Yeah, same.
