Talking Tingle #1 - Questions
HELLO BUCKAROOS hope you are well. i myself am doin just great as we trot forward together in this timeline. there is A LOT of stuff going on in the tingleverse seems like every day got a new problem popping up and dang that is so wonderful as a creator. i think many artists know years and years of thinking 'dang i fell frustrated because i want to PROGRESS WITH MY ART THERES NOT ENOUGH HAPPENING' and then one day if you are very lucky you wake up and think 'dang THERE IS TOO MUCH HAPPENING.'
as a buckaroo i feel i am on the verse of this sometimes. i write a LOT and it is good for my health, but i also know that my goal of keeping this patreon to A BOOK A WEEK is about 10 times as much as many other authors do with their patreon. i have been thinking on this because, while writing tinglers is good for my health, i do think i probably write a LITTLE too much. between tinglers and the horror novels i think i could pull back on the pace a bit, especially since there is a back catalog of close to 400 books already.
so it is my goal to pull back on the tinglers. probably a book every two weeks instead of a book every week. i understand if patreon buckaroos think 'that is NOT what i signed up for i WANT A BOOK A WEEK' so if that is the case go ahead and cancel your patreon trot, no hard feelings.
HOWEVER, that does not mean you are going to get less of old chuck. in fact you will probably be getting a little more of me as i have new plan for a trot on here. while the tinglers will be cut in half, i am going to start doing a TALKIN TINGLE segment once a month.
every month i will make a talkin tingle patreon post where i ask for you questions. they can be about anything: art and creation and philosophy if you would like, or maybe favorite movies or favorite places to trot in current city of los angeles. really anything that is on your mind.
once i get the questions i am going to pick a few and just talk about them OFF THE CUFF and upload my answers as a sort of HALF PODCAST HALF Q&A that is going to be exclusive on this patreon (for now at least, who knows maybe it will evolve and i will trot with extending episode on here and shorter one for public who the heck knows.

My question is about your horror novels (because if I included the Tingler protagonists I fear it would take far too long to answer): if you could choose one song to be the theme song for each of your horror protagonists (and deuteragonists if you want), which songs would they be and why?
I'm a geometry teacher, and my students often bemoan "when are we gonna _use_ this?!" I have plenty of my own good answers to that question, but in the spirit of that, what kind of mathematical thought do you use in your general life?
Which tingler did you have the most fun writing?
Do you have a go-to order at a local restaurant?
Who are your favourite writers?
Is your writing process for your horror stories any different than your Erotica? I hope you are having a good trot and do not worry about fewer releases. I have a great many tinglers already to enjoy!
Hey! I'm also an autistic writer (AuDHD if it matters). How do you manage to avoid autistic burnout?
I’d ask how you got so awesome, but that’s irrelevant. You are. I also loved your call into the John MULANEY show, though he shouldn’t have doubted your awesome. My question, as a fellow horror lover, what was that first horror moment where you smiled instead of screaming? When you thought “this is my happy place?” Or, do you simply use horror as a vessel for your important takes on humanity?
Hi! I really love your depiction of layers of reality & different timelines; I have similiar philosophy/beliefs regarding "levels" of reality, & connect alot with your meta writing. What's your favorite work of metafiction?
My question is of dire importance: is a decent cup of coffee possible in Los Angeles or am I doomed to bring a travel chemex every time I visit? Thank you. ✨☕️✨
Question for you - as a fellow writer of the erotic (only fanfiction at this current juncture, but quite a lot of it), I often deal with people in my life belittling erotica as an artform. I'm going to guess you've likely dealt with this as well. What are your thoughts on the purpose and importance of erotica in art and culture? Why do you personally keep at it?
200 critters walking the timelines! Do you need to make time to seek them out, or do you come across them regularly and only make time to jot down a few to share with us?
I think it’s great that you’re slowing down the pace! Your wellbeing and work health is the most important. My question: What is your workspace like?
