Today would have been the birthday of Alex – the brilliant creator of BrickCraft and my fiancée.

He was more than just the mind behind a resource pack:

Sadly, Alex lost his battle with cancer, leaving us far too soon.

“I met Alex in 2019 when I was barely 13 years old.
We bonded over our passion for modding Minecraft 🎮 and worked together on projects like Byron Dynamics and CONTROL in Minecraft.
Towards the end of his time working on BrickCraft, we decided to create a version of my shader Lux perfectly tailored to his taste.

Alex’s openness to take my aspirations seriously, despite my young age, has helped me tremendously 🙏.
This shader is my way of thanking him for everything he did for me.”
