🧱 + I proudly support BrickCraft! + (It'sMeCodySHC) Instagram - @codyisbadatgames This community has touched a very special place in my heart despite many going through this same disease, and I am always so curious as to why. This place has a unique and magical essence that can’t be found anywhere else. This community is small, but it is ever growing; evolving. This isn’t a destiny. It’s a legacy; a burden. He may not have built this community for this, but his craft has bloomed something of a miracle in the hearts of people. Essentially, he built a capsule to support his memories and what his mission was. And the best part? He documented it all. To share with the world his experiences with cancer and its immoral ways. So freely. So carelessly. At least in the eyes of the community. That is a fortune. That is a blessing. This is what encapsulates me, and perhaps us to the magic of his community: His story. It may not be everyone’s, but it certainly is how I keep returning. To know if all is okay. And perhaps not, but at least those kinds of days were answered with some kind of truth, and compassion. We are all human too. None of us are invincible to the devil that is cancer. This community can help remind us of that. Through his memories, and the memories of others; of friends. Friends whom we may have met here. That is the burden we shall bear. This doesn’t mean we should simply forget about him, nor anyone who has endured this suffering. Think about him as a god, looking over a body; a group; an individual. It always made me chuckle when he referred to his life as “living in demo mode.” I never heard of anyone describe their short life as nerdier than this one. And I love that. He never seemed to lose the humor despite all odds. I can barely get out of bed with my mental state crashing some days. His death is not the end to his story. It has just begun.
I am sad to see such a talented man go, but to know his work will live on through his partner makes me happy. I am excited to see where this will go, and most importantly, I, Mr. Cosmic, support BrickCraft 🧱❤️!
when do you choose the winners
You have until August 10th to submit your work, and on the 13th I will announce the winners.
