Tokyo expansion
If you are on the Discord or following me on Mastodon/Twitter you might have already read about it, but pixeldrain now has three servers in Tokyo!
This took longer than expected. I already ordered these systems in November. First they had to be shipped from the USA to Tokyo which took a month. Then the network cards were out of stock which added another two weeks.
Then the connection between Europe and Asia went unstable due to an international conflict.
When that was finally over I started testing my software and discovered that the caching SSDs were not nearly fast enough for caching your files. And to top it off the boot SSDs were not fast enough to run the database either... At this point I was getting a bit desperate. I had spent about $10000 on these systems and had nothing to show for it yet.
Anyways, I ordered new SSDs. 12 x 8 TB NVME beasts from Kioxia. Configured them all in RAID0 (don't want my database to start complaining again). Now after a week of warming up the caches we're good to go! jp01, jp02 and jp03 are finally running in production!

Can you hide the data of the traffic occupied by the download page and the number of downloads?
I was asking for similar feature where you can hide views/download count few months ago but seem like owner is not interested at all
hi i was using Pixeldrain ,until a month or 2 ago, paid also for the Subscription,but now i cant use the site unless is vpn,and get shitty spead of 200kb/s ,why? site message :This site can’t be reached pixeldrain.com took too long to respond.
Sounds like your ISP or an antivirus program is blocking the site.
Really liking Pixeldrain so far. But when i try to load/play a video in filesystem the "Transfer used" is counted while videos are loading/buffering. Is that a bug? I know the filesystem is in beta,but was just wondering why that happened ;) . Shouldn't "Transfer used" be counted when a video starts playing? Since yesterday I can not play any video and all my downloads I have to cancel it because I only opt for 1Mgs, I just consumed 16gb of my 4TB of bandwidth. in the Pixeldrain speed test everything is fine!
The server in the USA was overloaded. I have disabled it for now. I will be ordering new hardware to replace it.

may be the server problem I also too my files gones missing but the links are still working but files are not be accessable. we are waiting after the server problems resolved in that time we need to check back our files now we don't know what the problem

I did a test by uploading a 4GB file to another website where it took less than 1:30 minutes to upload and on Pixeldrain it took more than 15 minutes to finish. Congratulation on the milestone, hope we have upcoming servers soon in Singapore for OCEANIA and SEA
Above all, this expansion was EXPENSIVE. So it will be a while before I start thinking about expanding again. Singapore would have been a better location for these servers, but the servers there were all sold out.. In the end I get the hardware shipped from the US anyway so it would not have mattered.. but it's too late to move them to a different location now.
