Progress Update - Episode 16 + Steam Release Info
Hey everyone,
Work on episode 16 was slow for the past couple of weeks due to the upcoming Steam release. But good news! If nothing major happens, Intertwined will be released on Steam next week! Please wishlist here if you haven't already:
Intertwined - Season 1
The Steam release will include the already reworked episode 5, a part of episode 6 and a whole bunch of UI changes, thanks to LovBlueFox! You will love the new save system along with other amazing changes. Saves won't break, and we have a system in place so they won't break in the future either, even with variable changes!
Once the game has been released on Steam, we will change our full focus again to the new episode. Since the remake of episode 5 is already done, we're still contemplating whether to continue with 6 or leave that for episode 17.
Another scene for episode 16 is almost done. But Valeria isn't too happy with the results just yet. But it's mostly due to an asset. We're trying to find a replacement for it, or else we'll have to work with what we've got. But overall, we're getting the hang of creating the scenes/renders, and it's getting smoother by the day. I think we're already done with the first half of the first day. Episode 16 will include 2 days. The rest of Wednesday and the whole of Thursday. But those days won't be as packed as the previous days.
We hope we can give more info about episode 16 in the next progress update. But that's it for now.

Valeria G.O.A.T of time I preferred to have Steam Files Different from Patreon Saved Files
A question for Nyx: Will this affect existing saves? I ask because with the most recent update, I've been going through and redoing all the save files that I had previously for the different paths. With the time I'm spending to redo all these, I'd hate to have to redo them again.
Existing saves will work, though you'll have to replay anyways if you want to get the achievements, though some will unlock automatically when loading a old save.
Looking forward to it, this is one of the few AVNs that is still going that I love most others were either abandoned or were never put/allowed on steam.

Thank you for the update. :) - Would you be offering any Steam Keys to your high tiers and long term lower tier Patreon Subscribers? - Are you planning to bundle the game with other AVNs on Steam? - Any DLCs planned? Like 4K wallpaper or a PDF / in-game Walkthrough? - Would you be adding a "Steam Verified" rank, badge and channel on Discord? Thanks.
Just a clarification on the saves, they can still break just less likely too, and they will work between patreon and steam (you will have to move save files around). An added bonus is being able to support v0.14 saves, but I do still technically recommend starting a new game anyways due to possible bugs if a scene expected to be played.
Now, this is interesting. I have a whole bunch of old saves (probably for almost every path in the game) that I've basically written off as useless. You say it's *possible* they still might be backwards compatible with these changes? I understand you can't 100% guarantee it, but it might be worth trying out for some people like me. :] If I'm not playing the game on Steam, will the same features will be available with the Patreon version? Is it with next update (ep16) or some later patch? Thank you!
Does the rework affect saves and are they compatible between Steam and Patreon?
The rework affected saves, I know that for sure. Not sure how it affects Steam but if the rework is included in the Steam release, then it will almost certainly break your saves
