Progress Update - Episode 15
Good news, but there might be bad news.
The good news. Everything is ready, and the only thing left is testing, testing and testing.
I removed all the music that was in the game up until now due to licensing getting too expensive. I have new songs I've put in, though. The whole game has music/sounds now, but as I mentioned last time. Most of it will be swapped with new songs once I have them (and if supports allows me to license more songs. If not, then I'll just reuse the same songs that are in the game right now and keep it that way.) Now, most scenes have the same background sort of lo-fi music. There are some scenes already which have their very own songs, but not that many yet.
About the Layla-Erynn choice you have to make right before training camp. That choice is not final if you are also on the Alexis path. I'll leave that to you to figure out ways to maybe date the other person later on.
I also know that some people have issues with reading the text in the game. Especially on certain backgrounds, it's more difficult to read. So I've reintroduced the textbox.
By default, it is turned off. But you can go to settings and move the Textbox Opacity slider to change its intensity.
There are also some other GUI changes in the game. Especially the save slots. Which are now increased to 12 per page. And easier buttons to navigate through the different pages. The page is also highlighted at the bottom right.
I'll say this again. Old saves won't work. As a matter of fact, you won't have any saves anymore.
If everything works out, I will release the new update next week. But here comes the bad news. A certain user violated Patreon guidelines multiple times, and I'm in talks with Patreon about it. As long as that isn't resolved, no release. I know this will frustrate every one of you. Me even more since I have to deal with this now. Once I have more info about this and I'm allowed to share what's going on, I'll let you know. Let's hope this gets resolved quickly for all of our sakes.
