EARLY ACCESS: Happy Death Day

I’m so excited for this! I went to high school with the girl that’s passing out the flyers each day

If anyone else is screaming for some more horror / Halloweeny / supernatural / scary movie reactions... and you aren't subbed to these reactors? Shanelle Riccio has recently watched The Blob (1988), It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and much less scary: Heathers (1989) and Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991). Popcorn in Bed has recently watched Friday the 13th (1980), The Blob (1958), and the 2005 King Kong. Just SUMM Reactions recently watched Weapons (2025) and 1985's Legend. TBR Schmitt have recently done videos on The Blair Witch Project, Obsession, The Substance, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Natalie Gold's "Nat"mares for this season are... a little afraid of the light but so far, she's watched Beetlejuice, Barbarian, and... Zoolander. Which: if you're the prime minister of Malaysia, is pretty scary. You Me And the Movies are mainly watching lousy movies this season, so the bulk of their recent *gotta watch* movies for reaction are from months past: Dead Alive (1992), Phantasm (1979), Clue (1985), Little Shop of Horrors, Night Of the Comet (1984), The Bad Seed (1956), Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dr. Giggles (1992), Pumpkinhead (1988), Cemetery Man / Dellamorte Dellamore (1994), Silent Night Deadly Night (1984), Weapons, Terrifier 3 (not amazing but way better than the Annabelle franchise and Pieces), and Chopping Mall and Alligator. Petty Pumpkins are all over the place, right now: Wrong Turn (2003), American Horror Story reactions, Goosebumps episodes, Twin Peaks (Season 1 as of now, I think), Halloween Resurrection (2002), Nightmare on Elm Street 5, The Craft (1996), and the new Carrie tv series. Mary Cherry thus far this season has reacted to (*a lot* actually): Space Jam, The Corpse Bride, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Resident Evil, The Cabin In the Woods, Obsession, and Backrooms. Reel Reviews with Jen has been going through the 2nd season of HBO's Tales From the Crypt (1990) and done movie reactions to Frankenweenie (1984), Hack O Lantern (1988) and Cat People (1942). And some classic Twilight Zone episodes. Nick Says Boo has been mostly watching Heartstopper (hardly scary) but also has reacted to 1981's Possession, Evil Dead Burn, and... would you look at that: John Waters' SERIAL MOM (1994) which I keep telling everyone to recommend to Ashleigh. (She is going to tell all of YOU you dropped the ball not recommending it to her when I was the one who told you all so.) Molly Bee is robbing the graveyard with reactions to Re-Animator (1985), Night Of the Living Dead (1968), Cube (1997), Carrie (1976), Friday the 13th parts 1, 2, and 3 (1980-82), and Dog Soldiers (2002). A new channel I found last month, Scream Kings React are watching Hereditary, Halloween (1978), Hannibal (the tv show), and The Hobbit... yes, all movies/series that start with "H." Hold Down A seems to have done more lead-up to October with War Of the Worlds (2005) and 1986's The Fly and... is now taking a break from 'scary'. Force of Light Entertainment are also, seemingly, taking a 'scary' break after reactions to American Psycho (2000), Alien (1979), Carrie (1976), Jennifer's Body (2009), The Cabin In the Woods (2010), and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Colette Cherry (I'm not sure I know her channel at all, yet) has reacted to Psycho (1960), Resident Evil and Spiderman: Brand New Day. I know there are more I'm forgetting. But. Since there's only 1 Ashleigh and so many movies (and TV)... I hope you all enjoy some of those recommendations.

Reminder Ash: 2020’s Freaky is canon to the Happy Death Day movies. Watch that one too sometime. Haha.

huh.. well this was an interesting concept. I have to agree though that it was (like Groundhog's Day) getting to be a little too much towards the end. I too haven't watched this because I thought it was horror, but it wasn't really. Thumbsupski!

Is there a watch along version for this one or no?
