Wednesday Hallobeans poll
okayyyy now I know I saw some disagreeing about sinners being night vision or not so I made that other poll confirming our plans.
so 10/7 sinners and this is for 10/14.
mix of years and such BUT Pay attention because one of these is a bit of a double feature!

And why exactly is Matilda a Hallowbeans movie at all? Granted, I've seen the stage version of it more recently than the movie version, but what am I forgetting about it? What's scary in it?
Matilda is the sweetest movie, I think you’ll love it
You should add Paranorman!!
I thought this was the best poll and it ended up with the worst results 😒
A criminally low showing for Once Bitten. A vampire movie with Jim Carrey and a dance fight. C'mon
I’m still hoping for High Spirits!
Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U are sooooo worth it... must sees. Matilda doesn't feel Hallowbeans to me. High Spirits is an awesome film with some of Liam Neeson's best performances Once Bitten barely qualifies as Hallowbeans, but it is a good film, first leading role for Jim Carrey, almost starred Cassandra 'Elvira, Mistress of the Dark' Peterson as well... Clevon Little in his best role besides Sheriff Bart
The Worst Witch is an early Tim Curry classic!! Bubba Ho-Tep is a great choice, though. Animated is fun, too!
It hurts that Once Bitten isn’t doing better. Being a spooky comedy, it would be perfect for a Wednesday upload this time of year . Also, a young Jim Carrey.
Is Matilda a Halloween movie? I’m a little older I guess and just see it as a normal watch anytime movie.
Ernest Scared Stupid please. It's one of my favourite Halloween movies ever.
God i would love to see you do Bubba Ho-tep! Please do that one just because it is so wierd.
Come Now!!! "The Worst Witch" is the Obvious Choice. It has Tim Curry and it would be a great Tribute viewing.
Charlie Brown cartoons were my life back then. I never missed a single one when it was on. Everyone should see The Great Pumpkin at least once. Or turn in your human being card.
I usually only vote for one, even though we can vote for more than one. But, this time I voted for three.
Once Bitten please!!! Jim Carrey's first major film. Soooo funny.
Matilda The Musical!
I hope Happy Death Day wins!
The Worst Witch! That takes me back! 🥰
Happy Death Day makes me happy.
As a fellow Tennesseean, I feel like you're really missing out on the greatness and hilarity of one Ernest P. Worrell, ya know what I mean? You've seen him save Christmas, but you really need to see him Go to Camp, Go to Jail, and get Scared Stupid.
Worst Witch! Tim Curry as the Grand Wizard complete with musical number!
PLEEEEEASE get Coco on a Wednesday poll
ok, well I can see my fave Little Monsters probably isn't going to win, nor is Matilda, but Charlie Brown and Garfield are both very cute and definitely worth watcing.
THE WORST WITCH with special appearance by IYKYK?!? That's a job for elevated Ashleigh!
Its not going to win but Once Bitten is such an awesome cheesy 80's gem. Jim Carrey in one of his first roles.
Matilda, Danny DeVito who also directed plays such a great yet terrible father,👹 who also narrates.👍
I voted for the double feature because The Great Pumpkin is a must see. I am also holding out hope that Something Wicked This Way Comes will be on a poll soon for Wednesdays of the Non-Night Visions.
Other Wednesday Hallobeans movies could be: The Final Girls Freaky Cocaine Bear Michael Renfield Lisa Frankenstein Twilight Nick Knight Ghostrider Daredevil Goosebumps Batman Forever
Renfield with Nicolas Cage is such a good request. ❤️🔥
Casting my vote for skelping and floating masonry.
Definitely a Charlie Brown/Garfiled double feature, and for the scares, Happy Death Day.
Is Once Bitten supposed to say 1985 instead of 1995? There are a lot of movies with that title, but I assume Ashleigh is considering the vampire comedy starring Jim Carrey before he was famous.
SO MANY GREAT ONES HERE!!!!
Gah! Too many good choices on this poll!
Elvira’s haunted hills
Worst witch is with one of your faves
If Great Pumpkin/Garfield wins, it's probably better to watch Garfield first and have the classic Charlie Brown story marking its SIXTIETH anniversary in the headlining spot.
I think High Spirits is cute. It would be perfect for Wednesday.
I would sell my eternal soul for The Worst Witch to win (I mean every word, every syllable, every letter of that statement)... It's only 60 minutes, so it could be paired up with something / anything else. (Wishful thinking.)
A movie for your eternal soul......I'm intrigued.
Ernest Scared Stupid, duh. As the originator of the idea, I still think you should watch it in July.
I would love to see Spaced Invaders (1990) make a Wednesday poll. It's a favorite of my brother and I, but one that rarely no one has heard of. It's a silly movie about a group of Martians that mistake a Halloween night broadcast of The War of the Worlds to be an actual news event of Mars invading Earth, and they want to get in on the action. So they crash land in the quiet farm town of Big Bean, Illinois and hilarity ensues.
You're going to love Happy Death Day but you will ADORE Matilda with every segment of your heart.
I'd put betting money down on that as well.
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken needs to be added to this list. PLEASE!! It's definitely a Wednesday Hallowbeans movie!!
I love High Spirits! It also has a young and hot version of a future Jedi that's also good at finding people.
I just bought that movie on Blu-Ray last month to watch for October season.
Happy Death Day for the win!!!
Still no Mad Monster Party, *sigh*
Thanks for reminding me, I still haven't seen that yet.
Once Bitten is a good one, fun and funny
OMLordie I see Ernest!!
Beyond the old Sprite commercials, I never saw the appeal, but okay... (and my middle name (shortened) is Vern 😜) But y'all can call me Mertz 🤘😎🎸
Everyone should see "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" at least once in their life, but just so you know, The Worst Witch has a great Tim Curry moment in it. :-)
The Worst Witch has Tim Curry in it.
Omg there are so many good ones, I don't know who to vote for! Lol Like I love Halloweentown, but Ernest Scared Stupid and The Worst Witch are my earliest Halloween movie memories. ... Im gonna vote The Worst Witch, for a reason I don't want to spoil for Ashleigh 🥰💔😅
Going for Once Bitten to get some love (early/young Jim Carrey!)
You are going to loveeee Happy Death Day! Saw it in the cinema on Friday the 13th, such a good time!
The Worst Witch and Bubba Ho-tep are favorites of mine. Tim Curry and Bruce Campbell 😍
Bubba Ho-Tep! I’m crossing my fingers for it but I’m not holding my breath.
😱 Charlie Brown and oh my stars you have Matilda at the bottom!!! Please yes!!!! 2026 actually marks it’s 30th Anniversary. Since you’ve just watched Bicentennial Man, you’ll recognize one of the actresses from that in Matilda! 😉 And The Great Pumpkin is one of the Peanuts’ true classics!! That actually celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year!! 🎃👻
For another Wednesday one, please include The Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse on a poll!
The double feature of Charlie Brown/Garfield Halloween specials should be on this year’s Hallobeans by default. They are such classics!
Agreed, 100%. If she watches that Garfield special this year, I might cry a little. I'm not going to lie.
Bubba Ho-Tep!!!!!!!!!!
I went with Happy Death Day since the 14th is my bday and it's on theme, but my favorites from this list are Halloweentown and Once Bitten.
You have to see Halloweentown! It’s a classic! So is Charlie Brown to be honest. I also highly recommend The Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson. It’s set in New Orleans and deals with black magic. It’s so good!
You really should put Coco on a Wednesday poll! It’s a perfect Wednesday Halloween option. I know it’s come so close to winning on previous polls, too.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Happy Death Day, and I could have sworn Matilda was already on the channel, so that's gotta get watched this year
Yes, Happy Death Day is super fun.
Halloweentown in my personal opinion is BETTER than Hocus Pocus. There I said it. 😆 Fight me!
Matilda 💓🥰
Matilda isn't really a Halloweeny movie, but it is a really good movie I highly recommend. I'd recommend it closer to Thanksgiving though. ❤️❤️
Same = I avoided that movie for so long because the hype was enormous and, when I watched it, all I could think about was: I've never seen so much hype *undersell* a movie this good. It was tremendous. It deserves even more praise than it already gets.
Another cute family Halloween movie I adore is called The Little Vampire lol
