HALLOBEANS POLL!

boy howdy - with all the deaths we had in September I feel like I haven't been able to give you guys a run down of everything coming!

This is in order of going live on the channel, by the way. You get everything a week early. :)

9/14: Rhinestone for Dolly Parton (Still not over this one)
9/16 GoT 7 & 8
9/18: License to Kill

9/21 Legend for Tim Curry (theatrical cut)
9/23: GoT S1 Finale
9/25: Goldeneye

9/28: Transformers (1986) for Peter Cullen
9/30: They Live
10/2: The winner of the franchise Friday poll - which typing Ashleigh currently doesn't know the winner of.

SO THIS IS FOR 10/5 - SCARY MOVIES IN THE DARK - NIGHT VISION

This poll is more recent films - mostly because I feel MAJOR fomo for some of these movies because I've heard they are amazing. So, if you're frustrated we're starting out with new films, I'm sorry. I promise we will go back some decades.

I was also discussing on live stream the other night (Tuesdays/Thursday 3pm-7pm CST on twitch and second channel) that I will throw in your classic monster movies as a choice for WEDNESDAYS because while I respect them as classics - I don't want to waste a night vision upload on something that I know will probably not scare me.

These polls happen often and fast in Hallobeans - so you better get to voting!

This recommendation isn’t for Hallobeans but a welcome way to get away from all the horrors of the season and cleanse your pallet before the Christmas season. I have been waiting with bated breath for you to review Hail Mary!!!

A
Austin Olding · September 14, 2026

I really think you’d also love weapons!

Let’s go obsession!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Damn, I have been a member here 7 years this coming Jan., and I can't remember there ever being a list of movie options that was this tough to vote on. I voted on more than one, and the one in the lead right now wasn't even one of them. That being said, Sinners is a solid flick for sure, so I won't shed even half a tear if it goes on to win, but some of the films that have far fewer votes than it are not nearly as far behind it as quality movies go, nor as the voting would seem to indicate, so don't brush any of the others off for that reason. Man, just what a fun, solid list of movies. Appreciate ya Ashleigh.

Elliot Nesterman · September 14, 2026

I still think that a double feature of "Frankenstein" (1931) and "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935) would be an excellent addition for Hallobeans. Each is only about an hour and a quarter, so a double feature is easily watchable.

B
Bill Trumpler · September 14, 2026

Sinners is a must watch, but it's definitely not a night vision movie.

Thomas M Dolan · September 14, 2026

Obsession And a MUST for HalloBeans Franchise Friday: Scary Movie (Parts 1, 2, and 3)

E
EJN · September 13, 2026

Sinners, Weapons and Obsession are a must!! Sinners and Obsession aren’t necessarily scary, just creepy so I feel like those are a good Wednesday/anytime movie. Weapons will probably scare you a bit though 😜

M
Major Kerr · September 13, 2026

Sinners is extremely overrated but, that’s just my opinion.

M
Matt Vigil · September 12, 2026

I am so excited for Pierce Brosnan 007! 🥰

M
Marnie · September 12, 2026

i think there's a problem with patreon there's no button to make my vote the most important one and make my favorite win 😭

A
Atlas Image · September 12, 2026

I have been wanting to watch Quiet Place. Also for my scary movie selection that Ashleigh has not watched and I would love to see her react to; The Host 2006, Troll Hunter 2010, Deep Rising 1998, The Relic 1997, Mimic 1997 and I also would like to continue with the 28 days later franchise. If any of these would appear in a poll and do well I would be so happy :-)

S
Stefan Dahlmann · September 12, 2026

Oh God, PLEASE, PLEASE watch these movies! - Mama (2013) - Lights Out (2016) - Host (2020) These are PERFECT for a night-time watch!!! So PLEASE!!!

j
john · September 12, 2026

Ah the ‘86 transformers. What a fun movie to watch as a little kid in the 80s….. 😂

J
James Luke · September 12, 2026

Bummer Bring Her Back is doing so poorly. It’s a genuinely scary movie. IMHO

M
Mr. Mindgames · September 12, 2026

I'd also like to suggest: "Trick 'r Treat" (2007) and "Drag Me to Hell" (2009). I think you'd have a good spooky time with the former and you'd be jumped sacred to death by Sam Raimi with the latter!

M
Mr. Mindgames · September 12, 2026

"Obsession" and "A Quiet Place" are both goodies. Agree with those above - "Sinners" is great, but not necessarily all that scary, IMO. I'd also say the same about "M3GAN", a few jump scares but not much.

R
Raieldon · September 12, 2026

Glad FNAF is down where it belongs. 2nd most boring horror movie I can remember (after The Ring Two). Shame, because constant exposition really did the total opposite of what made the game narrative great, which was lore obscurantism.

B
Brutalobarbie · September 12, 2026

There's so many good ones on here. Weapons was fantastic, but Obsession is absolutely my favorite from this year.Bring Her Back is soo good though.

A
Ashe · September 12, 2026

Obsession getting such a high vote makes me kinda bummed. It is one of the only movies that I can say with 100% certainty is an incredibly good movie, and I hated every minute of it. Not in a fun, "Ooh! Let's watch a horror movie!" kind of way. It made me sick in a way no other mainstream movie has, or really any, and I find myself not being able to honestly recommend it to anyone. To me it's not like a fun gimmick, it is genuinely the most disturbing because the real horror is such a mundane thing, and it creeps into real life so easily, and subtly. So much that it disturbs me how many people out there can't recognize it, and that reinforces how frightening it is. I guess, just watch at your own risk. My partner and I watched it one night and literally couldn't even speak to each other until the next day. Not out of a fight or disagreement, we just felt sick.

A
Aldo Gonzales · September 12, 2026

How have you not seen Sinners yet? You must absolutely watch it as well as Loki season 2.

F
Frankie · September 12, 2026

still think Cobweb is a great choice for the Halloween season.

P
Patti Anne · September 12, 2026

Never watched any so no idea

C
Chris Bokros · September 12, 2026

Talk to Me is missing!!!!

P
PieHard13 · September 12, 2026

Bring Her Back is probably the most brutal and has the most uncomfortable scenes on this list and is the only one truly suited to night vision, the rest don't need it.

R
Rayve · September 12, 2026

I think you’ll enjoy M3GAN and Abigail, but I don’t think they need night vision.

J
Jerome Davis · September 12, 2026

I sort of feel Backrooms, Weapons, Obsession, M3GAN, Sinners, and Five Nights at Freddy's are all really not Night Vision... Now, that said, Sinners and M3GAN are Thrillers that deserve top votes to watch, but maybe not for a Night Vision poll. No offense to Inde Navarrette (maybe not even to Michael Johnston, he was decent an actor playing a meh role), as her performance is epic, but it is an otherwise uncomfortably bad rehash of a few old horror/thriller tv show episodes... the premise either needed more time to be slowly drawn out and subtly progressed over a more protracted period so it wasn't so immediately obvious, or it needed to be accelerated and amplified to show the Misery and real violence sooner. Obsession doesn't have the right premise for Night Vision, and is more disturbing on multiple levels than horror. Weapons likewise is a Thriller, and touches on some social fears, but is not Night Vision worthy, and really not as good beyond having a great cast getting wasted on a old premise (with some underlying social bigotry). Five Nights at Freddy's might have some Night Vision worthiness, but it is lacking in acting, and while Scott Cawthon deserves some credit for his creation of it, I'm not sure it is right for the channel. Don't know much about Bring Her Back, but I think truthfully it, Abigail, and a Quiet Place are the only ones Night Vision worthy on the list.

C

So many good choices!

D
Drock Drack · September 12, 2026

I’m pulling for Weapons!

R
Richard Smith · September 12, 2026

I voted for Backrooms, although it isn’t really a night-vision watch because, of all of them, it’s the only one I’ve seen, and that was a week ago. On TV. My horror movie game is really flagging.

P
Paul Stelter · September 12, 2026

Most of these are good options, though I always recommend "Frailty" for being creepy AF when watched in the dark. (Also "Se7en" but of course that's already been watched.)

M
Michael Tocci · September 12, 2026

Some bangers here, but I think Weapons has the most "react" moments

J
James McEvoy · September 12, 2026

All great options! Sinners is an incredible movie but Obsession seems like a better option for night vision

e
evil_incarnate · September 12, 2026

Please gods, any of these but Obsession. I saw it in the theater and it was terrible. A tired old plot that brought nothing new or interesting other than some jump scares.

s
ssb031 · September 12, 2026

A Quiet Place!! Please!! Also.. would love to see Bird Box on a poll :)

B
Brian Booher · September 12, 2026

A Quiet Place is so quotable!

S
SaucyKitty11 · September 11, 2026

I recommend Willy's Wonderland. At first it looks like a FNAF ripoff, but it is sucha fantastic work of art. It's also fun counting how many words Nicolas Cage says in total

S
Susan AKA Maisy13(YT) · September 11, 2026

Okay, I voted for A Quiet Place because I been waiting for you so I could watch along for the first time. Second I picked Sinners, and Weapons for my thirs, though I almost picked Abigail. Honestly all of these are good choices.

J
JC · September 11, 2026

I'm surprised Obsession isn't doing better, but I'm down to watch Sinners any day I love that movie

V
Vmedichalo · September 11, 2026

I mean, can we have a Double Feature of Obsession and Sinners? It would be crazy but would totally be locked in the whole time.

b
b nope · September 11, 2026

Damn, I voted for Obsession before I read the whole list lol Happy to see Sinners is winning

A
Adam Doyle · September 11, 2026

I wonder if we can get you to wear a live heart monitor for some of these movies!

M
Melissa Bosquez · September 11, 2026

Obsession or Abigail!!!

D
Darrell Minor · September 11, 2026

Sinners, Obsession and Weapons are good choices. So happy you’re doing Transformers the Movie which is a favorite of mine. Too bad it’s because of Peter Cullen. Going to be looking forward to that one.

P
Pogo Yaga · September 11, 2026

I hate A Quiet Place more than words can express- how did that get more votes than Weapons?

J
Joe Blankenship · September 11, 2026

Sinners, Weapons, Obsession--you might as well check these off the list. You're one of the few channels that hasn't done all 3.

W
Wally · September 11, 2026

I came here to vote and chew gum and I'm all out of gum.

M
Matthew Wyss · September 11, 2026

Ugh Sinners is one of my fave movies of recent years; but it’s not really nightvision scary…

L
Lynette Cummins · September 11, 2026

A Quiet Place is the only one I'm voting for. Stressful, feeling anxious, heart pounding, and absolutely terrifying. Just some of the emotions you will have. It's the best movie in this list. 💀🎃

J
Jeffrey · September 14, 2026

I agree with you because "A Quiet Place" is filmed that way. It would not be good if any "Nigh Vision Viewing Technology" is used.

V
Vincent Perrone · September 11, 2026

You got Cape Fear 1991 for a poll this year? That'd be a great one.

L
Lynette Cummins · September 11, 2026

Max Cady is terrifying. He's worse than Freddy and Michael combined. Anton Chigurh is just as evil.

K
Kristian Masters · September 11, 2026

Sinners is not a night vision movie but here we are

A
Ahjnot: The Sesame Street Commentator · September 11, 2026

I can't wait for you to watch Transformers! I'm finally going to see it during the 40th anniversary showings.

s
ssb031 · September 12, 2026

I was kinda hoping for the live action 2007 one, but that's ok... I think I missed the Peter Cullen poll :(

J
Joseph Roby · September 11, 2026

This is an almost impossible choice, but Sinners is the best movie. A Quiet Place, Weapons, and Obsession are runners up. Watch M3GAN on Wednesday.

K
KidOmega · September 11, 2026

A lot of really popular movies on this poll. It will be interesting to see how this one shakes out. Lol.

C
Cal · September 11, 2026

Weapons, Obsession and A Quiet Place are my top picks for scary. I don’t mean the best movie, I mean the scariest.

B
Bill Trumpler · September 14, 2026

Agreed.

B
Brian Booher · September 11, 2026

They Live? (Hooray!) I didn't even see that on a poll

D
Desi Jeffers · September 11, 2026

Sinners. Obsession. A Quiet Place

W
Wally · September 11, 2026

Sinners is an incredible movie, but it's not a Night vision movie. It qualifies more as a Wednesday movie.

T
Tim MacKay · September 12, 2026

i agree! i hope it doesnt take a night vision movie's place

b
ban1442 · September 11, 2026

It speaks to how strong these last few years have been for horror, that I consider all but one of these to be good to Great movies worth seeing.

L
Lazy Lynx · September 11, 2026

All but M3gan are great options, I'd watch all of these. ❤️

N
Nostalgio · September 11, 2026

Oh for sure Sinners, but you can watch that without the lights off… Obsession though. In the dark. Pitch black. No ring light. No nothing. 🤣

E
Echo Moon · September 11, 2026

You trying to give our girl a heart attack?! LOL

A
AnthoniusWillis · September 11, 2026

oh you've made this extremely hard. there's so many good choices. help, i voted for 6 of them 😭

S

There’s actually a lot of good choices on this one.

J
Justin Falcon · September 11, 2026

Hoping for Obsession!

Y
Yonatan Zunger · September 11, 2026

OK there are multiple good movies on this list but Sinners and Obsession are both SO good.
