BACK TO SCHOOL/END OF SUMMER POLL

y’all are doing her dirty by not voting for drop dead gorgeous over risky business

Hey there. New here. Suggestion For September: - "Not Another Teen Movie" (Ashleigh is certain to get almost all the references by now) - "Super Bad"

Why not more love for Drop Dead Gorgeous?!

October Sky!!! OMG!! It’s soooooo good!

Number one for me is Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion then Drop Dead Gorgeous, both hilarious movies, but I really don't care which movie wins this pole as Dolores Claiborne is coming up!!

Bring It On and Cruel Intentions are both must watches! Maybe if they end up 1 and 2 you can watch both! You won't be sorry with the casts!!

As much as I have been begging you to watch it--Know What You Did Last Summer is a July 4 movie. The holiday plays an integral part in the storyline. It would be neat to follow that up with Cruel Intentions as the movies share a bunch of production members, both on-screen and off-screen.

Heaven Help Us (1985) is another good school themed movie.

Some of these are pretty good I haven't seen all of them. I'm definitely voting for Cruel Intentions though lol. And same as some other people I'm sure, could have sworn you did Risky Business already early on 🤷😋 Looking forward to whatever comes down the pike 👍

Well I’ve only seen one of these movies so, risky business is my vote

Wild Things!

I have been waiting to see Drop Dead Gorgeous make it into your queue since year one of your channel. I'm afraid it doesn't stand much of a chance against the less obscure films listed, but my goodness, is it in your wheelhouse. Even if we never get to see your reaction, I truly hope you'll give yourself the gift of experiencing it one day, because you will have a fantastic time.

You have to do Drop Dead Gorgeous! One of my favorite movies of all time

Cruel Intentions PLEASE

fun fact: romy and michelle released in theaters the same day as another high school reunion film that’s one of my favorite underrated gems : Grosse Pointe Blank… where both deal with returning to their 10 year High school reunions !

OMG, YAAAAAAAY! Top Gun: Maverick (2022)! I have waited SOOOO long for this!!!!! ♥

Since Ashleigh lived in Knoxville for a while, she really needs to watch October Sky at some point. It was filmed in Knoxvile and the surrounding area (especially Oliver Springs). The Tennessee Theater, a historic theater in downtown Knoxville even makes an appearance (its been a while since I've watched it, but if memory serves, since the movie technically isn't SET in TN, they came up with the silliest way to disguise the name of the theater. They just hid the T and had the sign read Ennessee Theater. I laughed my rear off when I saw that).

I think you should add Real Genius to this. It's a school movie, it's a comedy, and it has Val Kilmer in it.

If Ashley hasnt seen it, she needs to see National Lampoons Van Wilder (just not the unrated version its too much for some people.)

Ashleigh re-add October Sky to the next true story poll🩵🧡

I know they're silly, but Ashleigh might be amused by the young Kurt Russell in Disney's Medfield College film trilogy, starting with "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" (1969). Of course, for similarly goofy summer fun with Frankie, Annette, and other good-looking young people pretending to be teenagers, she could start American International's long sequence that begins with "Beach Party" (1964).

If there ends up being a solid gap of the top 3 here crossing 100+ and the others lagging behind you should consider watching all three.

Nutty Professor is one of Jerry Lewis' best movies IMHO.

My first, second and third picks are literally #s 1/2/3... Nice!

Ashley needs to see Rodney Dangerfields Back to School

In no particular order: The Nutty Professor Drop Dead Gorgeous Cruel Intentions

though for a back to school movie.....i went stright to grease 2

I hope drop dead gorgeous gets a viewing! It’s so hilarious!

OMG Drop Dead Gorgeous!! Even if it doesn't win the poll you HAVE to see it. Hilarious movie!

Please put One Crazy Summer on this list!!!

Romy and Michelle, “I know, right!”

I Know What You Did Last Summer should actually be on next years 4th of July poll, if we really think about it...

Romy and Michele! Romy and Michele! Romy and Michele!

I'm shocked that "I know what you did last summer" didn't get more votes. It's the only one on the list that I really like. I voted for Risky Business too cuz kind if iconic from my childhood. Have you done Pretty in Pink yet?

If you loved Best In Show, you will love Drop Dead Gorgeous! Stacked cast with Kirstin Dunst, Kirsty Alley and Allison Janney. Kirstin Dust and Eliza Dushku are great and hilarious in the cheerleading movie Bring It On. And I also need to vote for Wet Hot American Summer, which is a perfect spoof of the 70's/80's teen camp/sex movies staring an all-star cast!

I LOVE October Sky. But that's just because I'm a nerd.

For the love of God let Risky Business win. Baby Tom Cruise is so hot and the movie is so funny.

The one's I want never win. And once again that looks true. Really want The Nutty Professor (1963). Such a great movie. But alas my taste is not the same as others.

We always watch, "Tiny Toons: How I Spent My Summer Vacation" but alas too niche lol

Romy & Michelle FTW !!! EASILY. Especially as they're shooting Romy & Michelle 2, RIGHT NOW and it'll be out next year. Other good ones would be Summer School from 1987 and Just One Of The Guys from 1985.

A movie I suggest for this type of poll in the future is 1994 PCU. A very fun college party movie that still holds up to today. Staring Jeremy Piven, Jon Favreau, and David Spade.

3 of these are a must watch.

So much 90s blah 🤢

What about 'Back to School'?

October Sky is such a phenomenal movie

October Sky! Ashley loves true stories! And this is a great one! Love the movie!

I know what you did last summer should be in HallowBeans

Wow this is a tough poll. Like 5 movies on here I've been dying to see on the channel

Please watch IKWYDLS 1997 at some point!!!!
