EARLY ACCESS: Live Free or Die Hard

The “Rush Hour” series should be next 😄

Here are a couple of recommendations for the last two Fridays: "After the Thin Man" (1936) the second of the Thin Man movies. William Powell and Myrna Loy reprise their roles as Nick and Nora Charles, and it co-stars a young James Stewart. "Earth Girls Are Easy" (1988) starring Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, and Julie Brown, it is a fun, summer, sci-fi, musical comedy. Perfect for the last week of July.

Someone made a chart of the number of references to Christmas and use of Christmas music in movies. Die Hard beat both It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas. I'll pause there, BUT I have a rant I bust out about why Die Hard is not only a Christmas movie. It's THE Christmas movie

Also, as you love Bruce (as do I) you should watch Fifth Element if you haven't yet (I have ADHD, can't remember), and he's also great in The Whole Nine Yards

The point in the first Die Hard was he came to visit his estranged wife and kids for Christmas, and by the end they seem to reconcile. That's why it's a Christmas movie, not the party IMO 😁
