FIRST TIME WATCHING: Scarface

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!

Hey there folks and happy feature Friday!

So stoked to finally be checking out this iconic film. At 2 hours 50 min, this one's a doozy. I watched it on Netflix, for those who are curious.

As always, thank you so much for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, stay golden! ✨

Ooh Bolivia! You should watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

was anyone else having "cave" audio at times? i honestly didnt have that problem so im wondering if its just a me problem or the version of the movie on netflix for whatever reason. so the movie was a bomb at the box office for its violence, bleak tone, language, bloodiness but has def grown since its release, most people getting the wrong message from the movie, a message the makers never intended. tony is not to be looked at as a hero. i can understand looking at a man who had nothing and worked his way to the top but he was an awful person with his own principles and code, sure, but he was not to be looked up to. that being said, some iconic stuff in this movie. a coked out tony taking on dozens of men with a machine gun with a grenade launcher, what an ending.

The echoing audio wasn't noticeable for me. I was watching on 4k blu ray so maybe a different, more modern mix from the Netflix one 🤔

The famous monolog was the one with Frank. The catchphrase was in the end. There's no good guy in this movie lol

I agree with Nat on this movie. I've seen it. No desire to watch it again. I understand the quotes. Too long. Not the greatest movie.

Haven't seen Scarface in well over a decade so this is gonna be a fun return!

You need to dive into more Al Pacino, especially his Oscar winning performance in SCENT OF A WOMAN (1992), which was his 8th acting nomination and his only ever win! He had an insane losing streak, so much so that his speech began with “you broke my streak”.

Happy Feature Friday Nat. The world is finally yours haha. Been looking forward to watching it with you. Should be a crazy ride 😄 I've watched this movie loads of times and your comment "Is that cop drinking milk?" made me laugh out loud 😂 Never noticed it before. Maybe it was a Pina Colada, or maybe it actually was milk for him to dunk his doughnuts in haha At the time of it's release, this movie held the record for the most uses of the word "fuck", around 226 times. Small potatoes now. I think the record is over 900! 😀 Really enjoyed your reaction today Nat. I had a blast 😊
