FIRST TIME WATCHING: Buffy the Vampire Slayer S1E11

Cordy just tells it like it is. One of my favs.

I'm loving your reaction to Cordelia especially as long time Buffy fans know what the future has in store for her.

When Xander passes out from the gas, he lands on Willow, and she starts to laugh. I've always loved that they left that in.

I love how the Buffyverse gives so much depth to the side characters. There are several people who aren't in the opening credit sequence but get some great character arcs.

Even in the episodes where the main plot isn't that great or interesting you get a lot of fun character interactions and development. It's one of the reasons I don't like most modern shows. There's not enough episodes to really flesh out the characters.

I told you you’d come around to Cordelia 😂 Her obliviousness and certain “brutal honesty” is just soooo addictive! Like, guaranteed she always says what’s on her mind, for better or worse… Queen 😭 I think Buffy has conflicted feelings when it comes Cordelia too because that’s who she used to be. May Queen winner, cheerleader, popular, before slaying came along and changed everything. Which I think is why they clash is much, but also why Buffy can give as good as she gets 🥹 Just two bad bitches maximising their joint slay

Oh should mention from this point on since you're going to be going into more seasons best to have tissues on standby just incase.

The last truly batshit episode of Season 1 😭 CLEA DUVALL becoming invisible because she feels invisible and then being recruited by a secret government agency along with a bunch of other secret invisible teens trained to be assassins that never comes up again 😭 Buffy the show that you are! It gets real from here on out tho! S1 finale and season 2 & 3 are iconic with enough campy monster fun thrown in to keep you entertained

And this is why we "love" Cordelia, she is a self aware bitch.

One of the thing about Cordelia that we discover in this episode, is that she not only is not as shallow as she appear, but that she cares about school. She read the play and asked to meet the teacher for help, those not usual trait for the mean/popular girl in fiction.

Omg you have no idea of the journey Cordelia will be taking in the future.

I just clocked Willow’s Scooby Doo shirt for the first time

To get around the spark concern, Giles wrapped his jacket around the thing they were using to battering ram the door.

Clea Duval as the Invisible Girl. I love just how many famous stars had a small role in one of these episodes.

I was not expecting this reaction to make me want to seek out and watch a musical I've never heard of until today. The song Natalie keeps singing is Superboy and the Invisible Girl from the musical Next to Normal from 2008 by Brian Yorkey.

Season 1 was rough compared to the rest of the show but it still was so much fun.

ill be meeting Charisma Carpenter Cordelia at a con later this year ive missed her the last few cons shes done here so its long overdue she has one of the best arcs in the series. Angel and Joyce will be there too along with Tara but you wont meet that character fro a few seasons.

Happy "Buffy" Thursday, Natalie! 😊 This is one of my favorite Cordelia-centric episodes. And Angel's back! Have a great day today! Stay Golden! 💛

Happy Thursday Nat. Yay, more Buffy with Nattie 😊 That was another fun one. A really cool mystery episode where they work the problem and everyone has their moment. Angel saving the day. That final scene could have been straight out of The X-Files. Great to see Cordelia being so appreciative and then back to her normal self in the blink of an eye haha. Thanks for another awesome Buffy reaction today Nat 😊
