Help me pick a Sci-fi flick!

Hi Natalie, by any chance could we do another poll with the movie Evolution (2001) on it?

Imma talk about a different poll because I missed it, but I'm so bummed One Piece got LAST PLACE in that poll! That is criminal!

Sunshine is one of my favorite movies

I was hoping for Alita: Battle Angel but I was accept District 9! Bunch of good movies in this list.

Gattaca won't be winning this time around - disappointing but I'll keep voting for it each time I see it available. :)

Please do Sunshine sometime soon, even though it lost Nat, It's fantastic.

I'd vote for Sunshine but knowing it's not gonna win, gonna put my vote towards District 9. Alita is fun, but District is a must watch/priority.

They are all great movies! Hopefully you’ll get to all of them at one point.

Alita is so good will be voting for that but also some other bangers on here.

Why are all of these in one poll?? You picked like the absolute best movies that you NEED to see ALL of, to put in one poll. Lol!😅 Space them out a little. Each one of these movies would win the poll they are in.

I will always vote Gattaca

District 9 seems to be winning, but Gattaca is such a classic, you really ought to consider it.

Sunshine is such a good thriller

I cant believe district 9 is beating alita

Been wanting to rewatch Alita but Gattaca is too good to pass up, the movie Soldier would have fit nice in this poll too

🌎Gattaca is the obvious choice ✌️

I was hoping for "Sunshine".

proyect hail mary, when available ofc 💯❤️

Why is Sunshine is always the underdog in reaction polls? Keeping my fingers crossed that we get a reaction to it anyway. However, District 9 is a very thought provoking movie by Neil Blomkamp who also directed Elysium with Matt Damon. He also has a collection of short movies on Youtube called Outs Studios. All unique Scifi stories and definitely worth a watch.

Another thought - please like this post if you agree - How would y'all like to see a Sunshine/Project Hail Mary double feature? IYKYK!

In Puerto Rico they call chicken wings alitas and I was living there when the movie first came out so we always call it Chicken Wing: Battle Angel.

I want Alita and Gattaca. Hopefully Alita can pull ahead and beat District 9. So many people already reacted to District 9 we need more Alita reactions!

OH! Comments! OK! I've been wanting Nat to see Alita: Battle Bagel for years now, so voting for that one. Underrated. Live-action anime! Sunshine is also epic with a stacked cast - but I would love it for Natmares season, because it's borderline sci-fi horror. But I also would not be sad to see District 9 win, because it's very unique, well-written sci-fi without a huge budget and you would never know. Always sad they never made a sequel, because it was deserving.

District 9 is incredible

I saw Gattaca in the list and was like "oh obviously that one"... but then I saw District 9 was in the list and was like "oh, you haven't seen that? Shit. You should see that", and so I had to vote for it over Gattaca. But after that wins, I'm excited to vote for Gattaca again in the next one! 😛

One of these times, Sunshine will finally win

District 9 is a must-see science fiction masterpiece. Also since Steven Spielberg Disclosure will be in cinemas next month I think you could just watch Close enconter of the third kind. You had it so many times in the pole, and I dont see it ever win it, it is a bit slower pace but still a great movie on the phenomenon, and if you go deep the rabbit hole you will find it has a lot of weird connections in real life.

Have seen and enjoyed all these movies. Curious to see which one will win.

dang, one day sunshine and/or gattaca will win.... one day

They're all great sci-fi picks, so I'd just watch them all back to back. My vote goes to Gattaca however. It's a movie I watched when I was a bit too young for it, so I didn't get everything from the movie, but I did get the mood. I learned sci-fi can be down to earth, it doesn't always have to have the best special effects. Those are always the very special movies, that can evoke emotions and make you think about it long after having experienced it

uh oh here come the poll comments lol I voted for Sunshine because it's incredibly underrated. Alita was pretty good, too. I haven’t seen Gattaca in… omg almost 30 years?! I’m gonna turn to dust in a strong wind… Anyway, I don’t think I appreciated Gattaca because I was like 15 at the time, so I’d definitely rewatch it. And District 9 is an amazing exploration of how discrimination extends beyond the human component. It’s sociologically fascinating and also quite a good film. And I never saw Mickey 17 and heard mixed things, but Pattinson is always fun to watch.

Sunshine is a brilliant movie. The rest are fine but Sunshine is just really well done.

Goddamn, it's a shame Sunshine very likely won't win, epic sci-fi with a stacked cast.

That was difficult! Alita and district are must see sci fi , mickey 17 was ok and same with sunshine , not seen gataca for years

My friend is in the Battle Angel movie. And are you gonna continue the rush hour movies

I need Mickey 17 to win

Alita Battle Angel such an underrated movie.

Alita: Battle Angel so good.

Robert Pattinson has been building quite an interesting career for himself. He was fantastic in TENET I thought.
