FIRST TIME WATCHING: Attack on Titan S2E31

Go back and check out Bertholt's hand the episode before this... when Ymir's titan says: "Want live... grab..."

It's time :) I dipped into the Patreon just to get here.

This reveal has been my favorite in any anime. Just out of nowhere while you're reading subtitles and you're like oh shit wtf is happening lmao

Yeah this is usually when people realize AOT is next level.

One of the most memorable reveals in all of tv history to me. The way it's so offhanded mid conversation half off screen is so unique

Wow i didn't expected this soon!! Such a delight XD Legend episode!!

This is my first rewatch of the show so when I saw Annie change course after Reiner “escaped” her grip I was like “😀…😦”

Did NOT remember that reveal being this episode and definitely don’t remember Reiner just coming straight out and saying it, that’s kinda wild 😂 it was a gag on first watch though, like, those are my by boys… I always liked the fact that Bertholdt, the more meek, quiet counterpart to Reiner, was the Colossal Titan. That’s fun. Always sooo cool seeing him in action 🥹

lol Mikasa's face during the casual convo: "death targets acquired"

I love how into the show Nat is getting!

whats really funny is last season you were very, very close to determining reiner and bertholdt were on annies side, quite literally. if you remember last season with the second opening you noticed that all the main cast members part of the 104th were on the right side of the screen facing towards the left and you noticed annie was on the left side of the screen, looking to the left until eventually turning her head to look right. reiner and bertholdt were the only ones on the same side as her while they were looking left before it cut to annies face. whats interesting is armin in the first season came very close to maybe death. after reiner, jean, and him had fought annie they were down to only one horse between all 3 of them and armin decided to stay behind until someone else came along with a horse, but before jean and reiner were to head out he wanted reiner to deliver an important message erwin and no one else. before armin could say what that message was though, historia came along with spare horses. its never said what message armin wanted to give erwin that was so important but with armins reaction and tactics with the female titan, its safe to assume he was gonna reveal to reiner of all people that he suspected annie was the female titan. another fun detail is last episode when ymir jumped on the tower as it was falling and told everyone to get on, you can see bertholdt is about to bite his hand. :)

One of my favorite scenes to go back and re-watch

*Renior voice "This anime is so tight, you dont know, AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO REALIZES? ITS ABSOLUTE CINIMA!!!'

Haha what a satisfying reaction... Funny that she made a comment about how crazy the twists in this show are right before starting this infamous episode.

I can’t believe Reiner and Burrito would do that
