FIRST TIME WATCHING: Nightcrawler
Happy Feature Friday!
I had so much fun with this one. I've never been a huge Jake Gyllenhaal fan, but his performance blew me away in this! What a fun ride.
For those who are curious, I watched this on Prime Video. As always, thank you so much for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, stay golden! ✨

Jake should have been nominated for the Oscar. He got nominated for Best Actor for the BAFTA, Critics Choice, Golden Globe (Drama), the Independent Spirit Award and the SAG Award but missed the Oscar nomination - probably one of the worst omissions EVER MADE by the Academy. Go look who did get nominated. Crazy.
Jake Gyllenhaal playing The Most Evil autistic man you’ve ever seen in your life
Natalie Gold ,since i can not comment on movie polls , i will write somthing here. You are finaly watcing "Robocop" :D my nr 2 action movie of all time from the 80 - 90, just below Terminator 2 ;) please watch the (unrated director's cut) 1h 43m (103 min) This Directed by Paul Verhoeven , who also did Total Recall and Starship Troopers. Just keep in mind that was not a big budget movie even in 1987, with a budget around $ 13 Mio, but most people would agree that it still looks great to day, with no CGI what so ever.
I forget which movie first endeared me to Jake Gyllenhaal but it was probably this one or End of Watch. He's such a good and versatile actor.
I would encourage everyone to check out the entire Gilroy family....talented awesome quality peoples...whole family, their spouse's, and also their family too...I only "met" Tony briefly twice after Andor (stood next to him)....instead of typing more...just use a rectangle for a few mins and you will see what I mean....solid writing lineage/royalty....cheers
Anybody else having trouble syncing this video with the movie? I'm on the struggle bus with this one and this is a movie that I'd really enjoy the reaction to! Any help would be appreciated, thank you! :)
If you liked Riz Ahmed's performance, he does an absolutely amazing performance in 'Sound of Metal'. You should 1000% check it out I would totally recommend. A personal 10/10 movie.
Wow crazy how you found it funny. To me it was really serious and fucked up, and sure it was fascinating to see how the psycho main character behaved but it was never comedic to me. For me its an all-time favorite exactly because of the shock of how far Lou goes and is rewarded for it.
I think this movie has a lot of dark humour. Which I also tend to struggle with. It's not my cup of tea but I really enjoyed the movie still
"I feel like grabbing you by your ears right now and screaming, 'I'm not fucking interested!' Instead, I'm going to drive home and do some accounting."
There was a LOT of confused X-men fans going to theaters in 2014. 😁
No way I just watched this for the first time 2 days ago
Happy Feature Friday Nat. This is a movie I have never heard of and have no idea what it's about, so I'm curious to check out your reaction over the weekend 😊
