loved the book as a kid
Hi Nat would love for you too watch Isle of Dogs by the same director is Fantastic
I hate Wes Anderson work 😃
Is this the first Wes Anderson film Nat has watched for her channel? While this one isn't a particular favorite of mine, hopefully in time we can watch Royal Tenenbaums, Grand Budapest Hotel amongst others of his films. And for the life of me I would never have guessed the rat was voiced by Willem Dafore, every other actor I could point out, including Dumbledore himself.
I have no idea what i just watched lol... by far the strangest film i think ive ever seen...
Great movie. I think all of Wes Alderson’s movies after this one have animated sequences or elements. The voice of Kristofferson is Wes Alderson’s little brother which is a neat bit of meta-casting with the sibling rivalry theme.
You see Nat, inside each of us there lives two foxes... 😂
You know, I never read this one when I was a kid; but, holy shit if it hasn't become my favorite kid's book (if it is indeed that) turned into a movie by far. The voice cast is *chef's kiss*, and I especially love the *cussing* in this movie. "What are you doing here? I don't think he speaks English or Latin. Pensez-vous que l'hiver sera rude?"
Poor natalie, that thumbnail did you dirty haha
Happy Foxy Feature Friday Nat. This is a movie I haven't seen so I've been looking forward to watching it with you. I remember the book from school so I'm curious to see how they adapt it and what the animation is like. This was a really fun film Nat. I remembered a lot of the story beats from the book, but it's definitely been re-told in the Wes Anderson way. Loved the stop-motion animation. It's always so creative and the use of different scales of models to tell the story was so cool. I was trying to guess a lot of the voices, and reading the credits at the end, I got a few of them haha. Good to see Koda in the background. Hope he's doing well and resting up. Thanks for a really great reaction today. Have a great weekend. Look forward to your stream on Sunday. Take care Nat 😊
one of my absolute favorites!! this was a nice surprise :)
