Help me pick another show!
Given that HOTD and The Boys are releasing episodes one week at time, I figured we could pick another season to dive into simultaneously.
I'm just focusing on 1 season for each of these shows so I can get a feel for the winner before deciding if I want to dive into the entire series.
Looking forward to seeing what wins!

late to the party but will mention the first 3 episodes of castlevania will really let you know if you're open to the concept or not. Not a big investment it catches you right away.
peaky blinders is so good.
Can you watch crazy rich Asians?
I think Peaky Blinders or X-Men 97’ will be right up ur alley, X-Men only has 1 season so perfect for what u want. Not in this poll but I hope you get to the new Interview with the Vampire show, I think you’d enjoy it esp analyzing the characters - its very well written!!
The Sinner !!!!
You should start watching the arrowverse, starting with Arrow
Castlevania and Legend of Vox Machina are top tier adult animated shows. Must watches for sure
Star Trek would be amazing but you must do some heavy lifting with suspension of disbelief.
Andor....please Andor. I would pay a commission if that works....
Barry is the only show out of these that I watched.
Have she ever reacted to anime?
God I hope she doesn't react to that stupid garbage.
We should watch Weak Hero class 1 it is an amazing show
You should do the black phone
Go with Peaky Blinders. It's a different kind of show to others you've watched. My 2nd choice would be Vox Machina. Take a break from superheroes.
The Bear???
You’ve already gone so deep into marvel and X-Men 97 is definitely a revamped MCU style ( that line up of hero’s is rumored to be the line up for the upcoming live action x-men movie that marvel is working on )
Don't give up on Barry, Nat! It's a complete series so there's a beginning and End. Keep it on the polls!
The Bear
Castlevania is SOO goated!! Please eventually watch it
Seriously what’s with people. Easily the best show here.
X-men 97 gets a huge advantage over the others in the poll cause it’s literally as of right now one season. But what an amazing show. The writing on X-men 97 is straight fire. This community watched all those X-men movies let’s top it off with X-men 97.
I can't wait for a lot of these, vote's gotta go to Peaky Blinder's though, by order or something. Still holding out hope for Legend of Vox Machina. One day!
Barry is a level above the rest of these picks.
it won't let me upgrade
It’s because the billing is still off for this month since she stopped it for her break.
Cartoons, cartoons and more cartoons. Meh, not my cuppa.
Barry and peaky arent cartoons
Wish I could vote for two; X-men 97, AND Castlevania both deserve it. Especially Castlevania Nocturne my God is Castlevania Nocturne phenomenal. Someone should also explain to Nat that Castlevania Season One, isn't really a Full Season, it was more of a ''Proving Grounds/Proof Of Concept'' for Powerhouse Studios Et Al... Hence Season Two is where it really gets its mojo...Though Season one is *extremely* important as it sets up the entire Series... I also want someone, a MOD or someone maybe, to put a bug in Nat's ear about a small First Five Seasons of The X-Men Animated Series recap video...
I do hope The Pacific and Masters of the Air will make it onto a poll eventually. Neither of them are Band of Brothers, but are still worth watching.
Come on X-Men, you can still pull ahead!
Hopefully we get it next time ! At least we in second place
Dark on Netflix. Already watched 12 different reactions to this brilliant show. On my 13th right now.
It is way too complicated and gets harder and harder to follow.
Dark Matter on Apple +….show is awesome!
Just watched the trailer and it spoiled so much for me. Wtf!!
If it comes down to peaky and xmen nat just remember xmen is only 10 30 min episodes ! A quick watch for sure
THE BEAR
Barry is such the perfect pick. All good choices though.
Peaky Blinders! Cillian Murphy is absolutely phenomenal in that show!
If you want animation at its peak, you gotta check out Castdlevania and then Nocturne after that. If you want bill Hader at his best, go Barry
Torn between Star Trek and X-Men
Natalie doesn't have to watch the entire season of Star Trek, only the most popular: Shore leave City on the Edge of Forever The Naked Time and the last one to be watched: Space Seed We're all waiting for the day she watches "Space Seed" 😎 Am I right?
You left off "Spock's Brain"! (CX I kid. (Back when they weren't so lazy and made more than a dozen episodes a year, you could afford to have a clunker or two. Now that they're lazy if you have a clunker it's a huge percentage of the season!)
ONE DAY Netflix Limited Series ! So none of the above.
X-Men!
I voted for Barry because given Nat's past involvement in filmmaking I think she might get a kick out of it. (Also it's just really good.)
Castlevania and LoVM are shows that are surprisingly receiving less love, but are absolutely worth watching.
Good list but voted for Legend of Vox Machina is so good and very different.
I am genuinely surprised Castlevania is not winning. That show is incredible!
I need your help getting Natalie to watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel . If you have not heard of this show it's an American period comedy-drama television series. Amazon Original that has won multiple Golden Globes and Critic Choice awards. And you should see for your self.
The show is a masterpiece! Masterpiece. Funny, entertaining, tons of heart.
X-Men ‘97, you need to
X-Men '97 is the best show of this year so far, alongside with Shogun
i hope you do x-men 97 one day even though it doesn't win poll this time.
Please make x men win
Having X-Men on this list without watching the original is kind of pointless I think...
not really. since a lot of people still enjoyed the show without watching the original show.
how Castlevania this low
Castlevania is so fun. The episodes go by quickly.
Dark!!
X-Men 97 was great! And it's short and sweet!
X-Men is not only great but it's short so if it wins it won't take long to get to the other options.
please watch x-men 97!! it's not even that long. you can watch 2episodes at a time and then be done with it in a month!
Oh man Castlevania so low :(
Barry it's so good an multilayered
Barry is yet again underrated.
Why no One Piece :(
Damn, I really wanted Vox to win 😔
Castlevania for the next animated series 😬😬😬😬
I'm writing in: Andor
One day Vox Machina will win
BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY BARRY
Id say do boys and hotd simultaneously
Hello! I am looking to become a member of your channel, but it gives me an error message that you aren't accepting anyone right now. Is that true or was it a mistake?
It's a result of her putting a break on billing for the month of June while she was traveling. Will be open again from July :)
vote for x men! Please!
Barry! Barry! Barry!
Ahh Peaky Blinders: A character so brilliantly flawed Winston churchill will show up at his house just to tell him how much he grudgingly respects him. Because everyone grudgingly respects him. Cos he's so damn... Brummie
Don't do ST unless you can get a true OG fan to curate the best eps for you. The juicy stuff is when you get to The Next Generation era 🖖
Vox is so underrated
Legend will never win ive given up
Season 3 starts in October. The hype will be real then.
If you're doing one season only Castlevania is the shortest one on that list, I'd recommend it since the first season is only 4 episodes long.
Second this, was a hard choice between castlevania and peaky lol
Cillian is an absolute delight on screen. Helen McRory (rip) brilliant. Adrien Brody chews the scenery like nothing you've ever seen. Tom Hardy goes off in this series. Sam Neil's Scottish accent is UNBELIEVABLE. So much good music, White Stripes, Idles, Arctic Monkeys, Sinead O'Connor, PJ Harvey, and more. It's also the most misunderstood show in the world. Literally. Many people can't hear through the accent. Turn on your subtitles, put on headphones or start flexing your context clue muscles. First season is old and it'll feel like it but still wonderful. Gets progressively better with each season.
Idk man the accent didn't bother me that much and I'm French Canadian English isn't my native language. I've been waiting for a good reason to re-watch this show I'm so hyped to see it probably win!!!
I did grow up with the X-men 90s show and I was shocked by how good '97 was. I was expecting What If (which I didn't care for) and I got something that turned toward the artistic ambition of Loki or The Last Of Us.
Barry is really good and hilarious and I'm sure Natalie will like it because it has a ton of in-jokes about the LA actor scene. Peaky Blinders (early seasons) is always a solid choice, it's quality entertainment with very broad appeal. As much as I personally like Star Trek, I would advise against watching the Original Series, it's _very_ dated. Also, season 1 is 29 episodes(!) long. Instead, I suggest to watch a selection of the best episodes to get to know the characters and then go through the movies, they're pretty great.
This. Everything he said Nat. 👏
X-Men 97 is better than any of the movies
Barry is 100% right up your alley, you would love the show! I hope it wins.
Peaky blinders is the shit it gets a little confusing sometimes but I think ul like it
X-MEN 97
Legend of Vox Machina is a welcome revisit and X-Men 97, too. TOS would be great with a stream lined select episodes list.
Legend of Vox Machina The Bear Star Trek: Next Generation These are the answers
Write-ins: Veronica Mars, Episodes, Coupling, Better Off Ted
Better Off Ted was so good! A shame so few people have seen it.
Too many good options 😔
I hope you check out My Adventures with Superman on Max at some point its really good so far!
VOTE X-Men 😂❤️🙅🏾♂️
Someday Vox Machina will win T-T
Also, bummed BLUE EYE SAMURAI didn't make the list...
Barry is a fucking great show here’s hoping 🤞
Write in vote for Andor
Was not expecting Castlevania on this poll but I have to stan 💛 Season 1 is only like 4 episodes tho, the longest being 25 mins… that wait between seasons was torture
Hope X-men 97 wins 🤭
I can't imagine X-Men '97 being Natalie's bag at all. Barry is 100% up her alley and would provide her a good opportunity to make some good insights with her knowledge working in films. But I guess you all want to see her watch a cartoon she probably won't like?
I can feel the passive aggressive radiating off this comment 😭
castlevania!! Barry completely falls off after S1 Peaky is good too
Barry is objectively the best show for Nat specifically, out of all the options presented. I don't think she's a Marvel kind of girl, and Peaky Blinders, as good as it is, she just won't relate to nearly as much as she would to Barry.
Yeah, i'd like to see her react to all acting classes lol
Peaky blinders is a good shout, only 6 seasons and 6 episodes each so fairly quick to get through it.
Attack on titan nat?
She doesn't do anime due to Japan's very strict copyright and no fair use laws
Okay, but Barry is a much higher quality show then X-Men 97.
No need to attack X-Men 97. Why don’t you focus your comment on why Barry’s good instead of throwing random strays?
X-Men for me. I like TOS but would prefer TNG or even SNW
Barry all the way
X-men 97 and endgame are best marvel projects they’ve ever done. A quick recap YouTube video of the old show would be better but that’s not even needed in my opinion. It’s a quick show too 10 episodes 30 minutes a piece . If it doesn’t win keep putting it in polls it’s a must watch eventually.
Peaky forever
Easy choice Barry so fitting here
Can't believe Legend of Vox Machina has so few votes. Really fun show!
I voted for Star Trek The Original Series, Season 1. I know it’s a long shot (it’s currently around 10%), but I love underdog wins 🖖🤞
Toughest poll yet! Barry, Peaky, and X '97 are all so so good.
Xmen 97 while good, is season 6 and continues right from the end of season 5. Makes no sense to start there. Even the showrunner of 97 said you need to watch the earlier seasons first.
No you don’t.
The first two seasons of Barry are amazing, and I think Nat would have so much fun with the acting class scenes.
I hope Vox Machina will win one of these someday. Season 3 this fall!
I wouldn't want you to watch the original Star Trek series unless it unlocks Star Trek The Next Generation and onward. Still voted for Star Trek though because I REALLY want to see you react to the later ones (TNG, DS9, voyager, enterprise)
How X-Men ‘97 isn’t winning is beyond me. We have to get it to win.
Less shows more movies please
I'm hoping we can get The Bear on a future poll. Wonder how that will do or if it's been on a poll before.
I think Barry would be perfect for Nat
agreed given her life experiences
As much as I'd LOVE to see a Castlevania reaction out of all the options X-men 97' was an instant pick. The animation, character depth, music, and overall story are just chefs kiss imo.
Still missing hazbin hotel Dx
Really hope Peaky Blinders wins 🙏
Plsssss the peaky blinders
X-Men 97 is the best ! It’s an amazing sequel series like Top Gunmaverick is & it’s treated the X-men better than the movies
One Piece Anime.
One Piece Live Action.
OZARK!!🌝
Peaky fookin Blinders!
I'm torn between Berry and Castlevania
I keep hoping Legend of Vox Machina and Castlevania would get some love, but they are always in polls with equally good choices.
I voted for X-Men '97 because it's the best "revival" series I've ever seen. However, I'm uncertain if Natalie has watched the X-Men Animated Series from the '90s. If she hasn't, she might be a little lost because the cartoon is faithful to the X-Men comics and therefore radically different than FOX's X-Men films. Most of the characters are the same, but Wolverine is a foot shorter, Storm speaks like an opera singer, and Rogue has permanently absorbed (Captain) Ms. Marvel's super strength, flight, and invulnerability powers. If X-Men '97 wins the poll (it's looking good so far) then we X-Men fans could recommend key episodes from X-Men TAS for Natalie to watch offline as a foundation for X-Men '97.
Or she can watch this https://youtu.be/QiIYSipWf4s?si=Ayh8S0VkMyvpaZaq
If you are going to do Star Trek, recommend Strange New World. Its a new series and the seasons are not very long. TOS is nice, but really not something I can see you commit to with how long a season is.
Since Star Trek has no chance (what a shock /s) I vote X-Men 97.
It's peaky blinders time plzzz i begggg!!!
Praying for the day we get AoT on the poll. 🙏
I think she would love Barry considering her background
Come on nn X men 97!
So freaking hyped about Peaky Blinders!!!
Barry or LoVM are clearly the right choices
I would also suggest for the future The Sandman on Netflix, that is SO good from the casting to the visuals, everything.
Sandman is so damn good but hardly anyone has reacted to it, which is a shame.
🖖🥲
Barry is SO good but REALLY fucking falls off.
I disagree about it falling off, but I can see how it would be that way for some people
Loki season 2 Nat
God im praying for xmen 97 its soo damn good
Castlevania is like a Nat at Night pick for how gory it can get but it is very well written and drawn.
I think with Star Trek The Original Series, you could probably just watch the top 8-10 episodes of the entire series. No need to subject yourself the entire show.
x-men 97’ 🙏🏾
Xman97 it's so good
Happy Wednesday Nat. I would love to see your reaction to some classic Trek 😊
I'm kinda sad Barry doesn't have more votes. Honestly one of the best shows ever
I know! And I think Nat in particular would really enjoy it because of all the theatre and film humor. I can't believe it's not winning this one :(
Come on, Peaky Blinders!
Unrelated, but Inside Out should be in the next movie poll.
Goddamit come on Vox Machina.
We like peaky blinders
Xmen 10 episodes that’s easy to do then start peaky blinders
is it too late to add the bear 😭😭
Start Star Trek and you’ll have content for years with all the shows and movies. You’ll never not know what to watch next, lol
Star Trek will give you access to the movies, especially the 22nd episode. They're all stand alone episodes, you can watch them in any order.
would love Vox Machina at some point. surprised it’s not voting well, I thought it did in a previous poll
Unfortunately, it’s a catch 22. It’ll most likely need an influx of Critters to win but until it wins most Critters won’t find Nat’s channel. Hopefully the season 3 hype in October makes it “popular” enough to win. I think she’d absolutely love it.
Even if Star Trek doesn't win I think you should definitely get around to it. I'd recommend the popcorn in Bed method of watching it though. At least for The Original Series, Voyager, and TNG. But even if you started the Original Series it'd still be like 5 years of Star Trek on the channel lol
Shhhhh.. We probably shouldn't tell her that we are patrons of Popcorn in Bed. Women tend to get a bit jealous when we tell them of other women that we admire...
Come on guys, let's give Castlevania the recognition it deserves.
I think you would absolutely adore Peaky Blinders mate so I’m gonna go with that🔥
MAN I want Barry to win so bad but I feel like it won’t lol
So hard to choose between peaky blinders and Barry. But I can’t go against Cillian.
I would love a reaction to Barry. That’s one amazing show that never gets the reactor love.
Anything but superhero things the burn out is real.
For you. For me, not at all.
I think Nat would LOVE Barry so that’s my vote, but X-men or Peaky Blinders could be fun, too (or, you know, The Expanse 🤷♂️😉… one day)
Agreed completely - can't wait for her to one day watch both Barry and The Expanse!
Well if X-Men 97 wins and you're not gonna watch the original series for the several years of backstory, here's everything you need to know in one 40 minute video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiIYSipWf4s
I think a reaction to this could be fun as well
Let's go X-Men '97!!!
X Men 97 is goated
Hoping for either X-Men 97 and Barry 🙏🏼
Do cobra Kai! lol
After she watches parts 2 and 3
barry!!!!
X-Men 97 PLEASE 😭 it’s sooo good
Please everyone vote Barry!
god plz be peaky
Always gotta go with peaky blinders lol
