FIRST TIME WATCHING: Fallout S1E5

You spend a LOT of time talking over dialogue, and you miss important information, and names of important characters.

I can't help thinking that all the cannibal references Lucy gets exposed to are a call back to her role in Yellowjackets.

This show is a wild ridiculous ride for sure and i'm here for it! I think you could pull off any vault-dweller for Halloween. Plenty of time and I bet there are a bunch of costume options available. But Lucy's get-up is pretty singularly awesome too.

I also wanna say for everyone, I don't know that Nat has liked the music for a series this much since ..... I dunno. I was watching her Gen V reactions yesterday, and she made a couple comments about great song choices. But it is really cool to see her face just light up and glow (is that radiation?) when an old crooner song comes on.

totally agree about the tone. I think what makes this show and this world so unique is the goofy campiness and kitschy 50s/60s elements, juxtaposed against the brutal violence of the wasteland. they really nailed the vibe from the games!

I'm enjoying re-watching this show with your reactions so very much Ms Gold! It's also making me appreciate even more what a great job they did incorporating the existing lore and then creating their own new story. Really the first time it's ever been done with a story and world this rich before that I can think of. I never got into the games as living through the stress of nuke threats in the 80's was enough for me as a teenager but I might give it another go. There are some very easy to apply mods I've seen where you install one thing and a whole slew of stuff gets laid down that makes the game(s) look much more modern.

Great episode! This is really a great Amazon series & a perfect segue to S4 of "The Boys" in the 1st week of June! ]\Fun fact for those Deadpool Movies fans: Vault 31 Betty is played by Leslie Uggams, better known as Blind AL! LOL!

I still vote for a livestream of you playing Fallout 1

I loved this show and really enjoyed this episode, but you're really gonna tell me Lucy walked right over a HUGE Vault-Tec logo painted on the asphalt in the medical center parking lot and didn't clock it?

Thank GAWD Nat realized 31 to 33 meant the vault, was about to flip the safety on my roasting gun. 🤣

"Sweet little idiots" lol that's Reg and Woody in a nutshell.

Happy Tuesday Nat. Another intriguing episode today. Really love how they are teasing the mystery of the vaults. We need answers 😄 When Lucy managed to open the knight suit without any trouble, I got instant Rey and Finn vibes from Star Wars Ep.7 😄 "Well that looks like aaaaa set for a horror movie" ha ha 😂 You can't beat the old, dilapidated hospital for a creepy scene. Thanks for another great video today Nat 💛

I'm just amazed at the amount of details they have brought across from the games. Love the reactions Nat. Hope you enjoy your break/honeymoon

Great episode and reaction! I love that they kept so much of the music and aesthetics of the games, it's so fitting. And FYI I think your idea of dressing up as a vault dweller would be a great way to start a playthrough of one of the games this summer, which could transition to a Halloween costume, too!

The mystery aspect of this show is so fun trying to figure everything out. I personally could not for the life of me figure anything out myself 😭 the last three episodes were so crazy for me, I had to just binge it, so, super excited for those reactions

I am so glad that Natalie figured out the 31-33 thing wasn't their age, so we did not have 10 posts in comments telling her about it! Fallout cannon by the way says there were 122 vaults total.
