Help me pick a movie!

Finally Memento wins!,, going to be a great watch seeing Natalie figuring out the movie. She's pretty smart so I'm confident she'll follow with only a few questions... most I can say without hinting at spoilers

As I think about this more.. Maybe she SHOULD watch American History X. We all know it's going to make her cringe. But if she watches that movie, she should watch the opposite.. The animated Boondocks on HBO. Equal cringe right...

Memento is a movie that is right down your alley.. What a mind-fuck...

Pleasantly surprised Memento is leading! All great choices, but I was expecting picking this one to be in a minority.

You know, this is a pretty close poll overall. Not one completely running away with it, and there's only a 12% spread between top and bottom (at the time of this posting.)

God i genuinely love all 4 of these movies....is all of the above an option

The Nice Guys

I went for American history X in this one. I think it would blow Nat away, was amazing when I watched it out of nowhere way back when.

Iron Claw is extremely powerful. I'm hopeful it'll win eventually.

I'm down for any of these! Voting for American History X, though. That's one that needs to be seen by more people.

IRON CLAW HAS BEEN SUGGESTED SEVERAL TIMES. YOU NEED TO WATCH IT

A couple suggestions of my favorites: 13 Hours (2016), and The Equalizer movies with Denzel Washington

Memento. It deserves its moment to shine.

Don’t do a poll - just watch Reservoir Dogs.

Get Shorty, Be Cool, Sin City franchise.

I'm honestly not sure I can watch American History X again. It's an amazingly well done movie, but it was so painful to watch that I'm not sure I can stand the mental damage again.

Sicario!

I'm gonna add some random movies for you to consider later down the road. Comedies: Airplane!, Ghostbusters, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Robbin Hood Men In Tights, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Top Secret, My Cousin Vinny, Free Guy. Action/Adventure: Mission Impossible franchise, Bullet Train, Looper, Speed, Cast Away, Air Force One, True Lies. Based on a true story: Catch Me If You Can, The Social Network, Argo, 127 Hours, The Pursuit of Happiness, The Impossible, Ford V Ferrari, Captain Phillips. Sorry if that was a lot. Feel free to let me know if you've already seen some of these.

Hello everyone asking for your support again for Nat to watch SICARIO or The Boondocks Saints. Thank you. 🖤

Whooooo! Another Chris Nolan movie! Whooo!🤘😲🤘

Really can't go wrong with this list, picking American History X just because it's been the longest since I've seen that one, but these are all winners.

IRON CLAW

Memento is the most confusing Nolan film for a reason and he has stuck to that whole "time" formula ever since. Masterful director, hope it wins.

The first poll we've had where I don't care who wins. Any of these would be a great watch.

reservoir dogs memento and american history x are all BANGERS HOW DO I CHOOSE

Voting for the Iron Claw. It's been requested a lot since it came out. I'm mildly curious, having watched the Von Erich's growing up. I'm aware of their family and family history. It seems like if it doesn't win now, it may never, and I feel for those who have been anxiously mentioning it consistently since it debuted. I hope it wins!

American History X is a Really good movie. I’d also like to suggest “Lucky Number Slevin” get added to a list at some point. It’s also Really good!

Memento for sure. Reservoir dogs is great too.

Memento is just… one of those movies… everyone should see. Not even dissing the other choices, but this was an easy poll for me.

Happy Wednesday Nat. Going to go for The Iron Claw this time as it has been much requested. Have a great day Nat 💛

What We Do In The Shadows

If American History X wins I’ll for sure watch along but I will be depressed for a solid week following

Please be Memento

My vote is for Memento. Great movie!

My vote is for iron claw. But memento is definitely a must watch

Iron Claw is the only one of these movies I have seen, so that is the one I voted for.

This is a real good poll because all of those are winners. I’d have to say, if forced, Reservoir Dogs should be watched first because it’s the movie that put Tarantino on the map. It also still hold up today a tense, funny, and very bloody masterpiece of cinema.

The Iron Claw is so good!

Picking Momento, Christopher Nolan's breakthrough film

In the future can you watch Batman: Under the Red Hood? It's a great animated film.

Eventually all should be watched.

Everyone on the planet is doing iron claw rn so went for RD

I've voted for Reservoir Dogs SOOO many times now.. 🙂 please let that be the one, this time

tough choice! when you get to memento be prepared for philosophy of mind and self... reservoir dogs was my vote, from the master of mixed emotions... watch all of them!

Since we've already done Schindler's List I'd say let's do American History X as well, best of the options imo

Omg everyone votes so fast!

I might be the only one who thought The Iron Claw was just okay. Good for a one time watch, but I probably won't revisit it when it inevitably wins this poll. I'd prefer AMX because as someone above mentioned, it's more relevant today than ever. Memento would be a great watch, too.

Oof. First Schindler's List, now this list. Not easy watch along titles.

Iron Claw was a good cry.

The people NEED the Top Gun Maverick reaction!

Please be Iron Claw

American History X isn't a comfortable watch, but it definitely should be watched. It's more relevant today than when it was released.
