Help me pick a movie!
We won't be watching this next week (since I already have a couple movies lined up), but we'll watch it the following week. Figured we could do Dune 2 then, along with another sequel/threequel haha.

Dune 2
I hope that Natalie will eventually see Karate Kid II...a far superior movie and MUCH BETTER love interest. Plus...it in Okinawa...love this place.
I like the 2nd one better than the first, actually. Higher stakes. Maybe not as original as the 1st, but still solid.
Oh I wonder who is going to win? LOL!
LETS GO PIRATES
Yay! A Pirates trilogy on the channel would be goated (we don't speak about the other two lol, don't think they are necessary, but you can watch the 4th and 5th if you wish and tell us what you think)!
We neeed top gun maverick
Why isn’t top gun maverick on this list?
I figure it’s because she already intends to watch it.
I would to see u watch a Kdrama...Twinkling Watermelon
Hello, back again asking for support for Nat to watch the Boondock Saints or SICARIO. MUCH LOVE
How in the wide world of sports is PRIATES 3 winning? 🤦🏻♂️
for the love of god the matrix please, i mean i love johnny but.
My eyes instantly went to matrix and clicked it (its not as bad as you remember!! there’s cool stuff!!) and I was surprised to see it losing Until my eyes flicked down to pirates 3 YEAH WOO ARRRRGGHHH, it’s a great trilogy of movies - in spectacle if not story as some people argue x
The Matrix sequels have definitely improved with time. The initial critical response from fans was because many of us had expectations based on a misunderstanding of the aims of the first movie. From the perspective of someone who’s matured, and seen all four Matrix movies multiple times, they’re a triumph.
Come on Lost World. Life finds a way!!
I've only seen Pirates 3 once, back when it was released. I haven't seen a Pirates film since. But the other films aren't so bad. Matrix Reloaded is big and dumb but I enjoyed the hell out of it in theaters way back in... 2003? I was in my first year of college then...
The 2 Matrix sequels get a bad rap, because the 1st was so original and awesome, and they just couldn't hold up. However, they are both still some top tier A-level Sci-Fi action and worth completing.
A polite request to put Warrior (2011) in a poll
Yes, please
Have you never seen The Joker?
If not, probably not a huge loss.
At worlds end is garbage. Nat didnt even like dead mans chest, making her watch this is just cruel
My favorite POTC film is definitely At Worlds End, mainly because of Depp’s performance and Jack’s demeanor.
Well said. Team Matrix all the way!!
Admittedly I haven’t seen the Pirates movies since they came out, but I remember loving 2 and hating 3. I don’t mind that it’s winning tho simply because Nat is currently in the middle of that trilogy. However my vote is and always will be for The Matrix because, as divisive as those films are, each one makes a deliberate effort to challenge its audience and deliver something new. They put artistry and ideas first, which is a rarity for any blockbuster, let alone every single instalment in a franchise. There’s nothing else like them, and they are as audacious and auteur-driven as Hollywood movies get. Reloaded in particular is also one of the best action movies ever made.
I definitely think she should check out At World’s End, but I hope she stops there. I didn’t hate Dead Men Tell No Tales, but in all honesty neither it nor On Stranger Tides feel like Pirates of the Caribbean movies to me and they are leagues beneath the first three.
She just doesn't need to see them right away because they're not really connected together. Ashleigh burton turned out to like 4 & 5 more than 3.
Oof, rough picks all around. I'll be honest, none of these are fantastic. Matrix at least has fun action, but ehhh... They all suffer from the classic Hollywood syndrome (We want more money -> Make Sequel)
Not pirates 3 that was a needed end to a story
Please don't watch the Matrix 2 or 3, they don't even come close to the 1st.
I found Matrix Reloaded to be entertaining, but crazy heavy on the CG. Revolutions was definitely underwhelming.
The lost world is underrated, i love the entire Jurassic Park trilogy, it deserve more love
The Jurassic franchise is pizza to me. It's all good on some level.
Dead man's chest and world's end are a single story. They have to be seen together
The Karate Kid Part II is the only one on the list that is better than the predecessors. The rest of them are trash
You think you can escape Jack Sparrow, Nat!? This was not a competition even in the slightest. lol
I just want Nat to watch Top Gun Maverick now 😂
Yes!! She mentioned it in a livestream at some point so it's for sure on her radar, i think she'll watch it! 😊
Didn’t Nat say after watching Pirates 2 that she didn’t wanna continue watching them if they didn’t get better. *sigh* I was hoping for Karate Kid II
Is Dune 2 even available to watch at home yet?
not In the U.S or Canada unless pirate itm
matrix reloaded is a hilariously two decades old CG, it's worth it just to laugh at. somehow it's more cartooney than Clone Wars
There’s really only one action sequence in Reloaded with noticeably dated cgi, and even that sequence mostly relies on practical effects, until it becomes so over the top that it couldn’t be done practically, which is the point.
Definitely Pirates of the Caribbean! Please, also watch the rest of the movies sometime. They are still good movies even tho people might not rate them very good.
I swear you have the hardest line up to pick from. I want you to see them all
"ALLEN" - velociraptor on an airplane
I believe that is in #3, but truly there is no more iconic scene in the entire franchise.
This is just a suggestion when you do a thriller suspense movie when you get a chance, check out Netflix's movie Spectoral, it's about the military going up against ghosts, but when you get time to check it out.
Reloaded and Lost World get a bad rap but both have iconic or hilarious scenes in them. Pirates I loved all the way to the end so it gets my vote.
Top Gun Maverick. But if not I guess Karate Kid 2
I want to vote for 3 of these. But PoTC edges it over Karate Kid and JP for me. But all 3.
Complete the pirates of the Caribbean series
Sooooo, no Oceans 12? 🙃
I really hope she continues this trilogy soon. Ocean’s Twelve in particular is a misunderstood and under-appreciated masterpiece. My favourite in the series.
Transformers trilogy when?
Trilogy??? There's like 8 of them.
Ya, gotta finish out POC while it's still fresh! Yar Har Fiddle Dee Dee.
This is such a hard choice. I went with the majority, but you got to do the Karate Kid series and then Cobra Kai!
Matrix reloaded is way overdue
I vote for Karate Kid 2 mainly because I want her to get to Cobra Kai.
Same here Cobra Kai is an amazing show but unfortunately I doubt karate kid sequels will ever win any more polls, if she's ever gonna get to Cobra Kai she's gonna have to make an executive decision concerning Karate kid two and three, very well worth it
I hate that everyone always chooses what I don't want to watch she hasn't seen the matrix in years now does no one care but me???
I know I'm in the minority here but watching POC smash Reloaded really annoys me. I never really wanted to see those pirate movies...even if our Nat watches along😔
We have got to get you through the karate kid movies so you can watch Cobra Kai!
I chose E) Top Gun: Maverick
Been waiting for the Matrix sequel for so long! It's far from the greatness of the first one but still so entertaining imo
You've done the first 2 Pirates movies, I think it's only right that you complete the trilogy, at least.
Lost World!! Dinos > Everything else
No Cars 2 then? Dang it!
Happy Wednesday Nat. Hope you are doing good. Going to go for some more Karate action this time. Have a great day 😊
