Happy New Year, everyone!

In a very dramatic turn of events, the drug trafficker, who was the president of the country I live in, has been captured by the DEA.

I was woken up in the middle of the night to the sound of the bombs falling on military facilities here in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. I literally saw the smoke and the fire erupting from behind a nearby mountain.

Luckily, I'm currently visiting my family in a residential area away from military and governmental facilities, so we are all safe. Everyone is currently waiting to know what is going to happen next, because we don't know anything about what's going on behind the scenes. This morning, people went out to buy food and emergency supplies all over the place, and things got a bit crazy, but there is a strange calm right now, and the only thing we can do is wait.

So, I wanted to let you know about this. I'm not sure if the power can get cut off all of a sudden. I will be trying to work a bit to keep my mind occupied, trying to deal with the anxiety and uncertainty.

I will keep you posted on what's going on if I can, and I hope everything goes well. Have a good day and stay safe.
