First Bug Fix Mod of the New Year 1/7/26

If you are attending GeekCon and you are having trouble participating in the Hackathon despite the game asking you to take part in like three different ways, try out this new mod:

🆕 Hackathon Fix

(Requires City Living)

This mod fixes an issue that prevents Sims from participating in the Hackathon during the GeekCon festival.

New tests were added with Adventure Awaits to several hacking interactions that allowed Sims to perform them without meeting the skill requirement as long as the current Getaway or Custom Venue rules encouraged hacking. However, the Hackathon does not have a skill requirement in the first place, so the new test inadvertently made the Custom Venue/Getaway rule a strict requirement instead of an alternative. Oops!
