Development Pipeline - Fireclaw Behemoth Concept Rework
Here is the latest concept for the Fireclaw Behemoth rework. The old design looked cool, but had some issues we needed to fix, such as the extremely thick armor, body proportions, arm joints, short neck, etc. Our newest concept artist, Karta, took on the challenge and did not disappoint! We will probably make a few more tweaks but are very happy with the makeover Karta did for the Fireclaw.
The Fireclaw will be a DLC that will release alongside the Icehorn.

i love it! i do think it needs to be a little chonkier on the underbelly, maybe give it some armor there or something cause right now i think it looks too nimble, but i think this one has real potential!

but the whole point is for them to have claws there whole name is fireclaws
this reminds me of the Gyroudus from creatures of sonaria sort of turned into a dragon. but its rly cool and a love the concept

The idea of the oozing tail is interesting—could mean extra fire damage without use of bile, maybe.
Love how it looks, more balanced as well
Really love this glow-up. Proportions (and positioning of the claws) feel much more believable in this concept work! I also like the small/understated horns: it helps keep the visual attention on the claws (where it should be: they look like real slicers and dicers, haha)!
