Behind the Scenes: The Making of the Shadow Scale Dragon
Hello Patreons, it's been a quiet month here in October which means we have been really busy getting the new animators situated and getting our rigs ready and our animations pipeline downpat.
Today we'd like to show you the Behind the Scenes making of the Shadow Scale Dragon from its first initial 3D concept to the final 3D concept.
A lot of people think all the work is done by our concept artist, but as we look behind the scenes, you will see just how much of the design is influenced by Jao and Bad Parrot. Special thanks to Rose for making the storyboards.

Love the first impression of it love the head
Omg I actually really like the initial design, you should definitely hang on to that and maybe use it for a new dragon in the future :O
A very timely process with many stages. The original head might be cool to see on another dragon species in the future.
