Thats only my opinion but I fell 2nd, 3rd and 9th are the ones that feels the most ''natural water electric dragon vibes. the others are nice, but dont feel like base coloring. some dont feel watery and others dont feel electric, and some just neither

Looooving all the color possibilities! Controversially: I'd probably lean towards color schemes like the original concept/top left for Iconic. Purely from a survival standpoint: keeping to more subtle blues and deep purples so hatchlings can blend and stand out less to other older tidal shocks and other semi-aquatics. While they'll be safe from most of the roster thanks to where they live, I don't doubt other tital shocks won't turn down smaller noodles as easy aquatic snacks. :'D BUT, my favorite 'popping' skin is the yellow/black stripes: water tiger vibes, yessSSSS!!
i believe since these are variations that means this are the ones the mothers will craft for the babies (examples of what you can craft anyways)
The first and ninth seem to fit a lot!
