Crafting help!?
I've been crafting/sculpting a ton of fake candies for Cavity using y'all's suggestions, and I have a lot of candies made from old boxes and foam clay, but I haven't figured out a good way to fabricate candy wrappers like the ones in the last image.
I am going for more of a vintage look with this and plastic wrappers are more modern so I don't want as many, but I do what some. Do Y'all have any ideas on how to do this? These also need to be really lightweight!

I've used baking paper (which I think is parchment paper in the US) in the past with ends tied in twine. I think paint markers set on it but I can't remember. There's also a way to emboss tin foil from takeaway trays and you can add details with Sharpie markers. You could also just put un packaged fake candy in a jar and mount it on a belt similar to a magic witches bottle. This is all based on vintage UK sweets though. E.G Tunnock's teacakes, Uncle Joe's mint balls and Mr. Sims' stores. So I'm not sure if that's massively helpful.
I would probably print them on paper, fold/cut them into the needed shapes, and cover them with either a thin, clear plastic like those cheap gift bags from card and party store sections or use some high gloss varnish/sealant. I've also seen Dollightful on YouTube get candy printed on fabric for her latest candy themed doll series. It could be lightweight depending on what you use to fill out the shapes, but the texture would be. Not candy wrapper texture, so IDK if that'd work
Making waxed paper isn't to hard. A bit time consuming and a little messy though. But for an antique vibe would work. You could use any printed paper you want as well.
This, i like your idea
Why not just use old candy wrappers? You might be able to clean out the old candy, and put something like a packing peanut to fill out the wrapper.
The first thing that came to mind was plastic binder sleeves colored with acrylic markers for that bright/saturated effect 🤔
You can use small card board pieces as a base to make the frame or shape of the candy inside and use newspaper or a fairly light paper to make the shape a glue the edges down. Almost like making a ravioli. Please let me know if I need to clarify anything! These are awesome by the way!!
Cellophane was going to be my suggestion as well. I just searched "translucent cellophane" on Amazon, https://a.co/d/0j2DsPKt
This is my suggestion as well!
Could you paint with flexible paints on the inside of cellophane?
