First (BIG) Halloween project! 🎃
Meet Cavity my candy demon, which will be my first big Halloween build for this year! 🦇
She's inspired a lot by the candy ghoul I designed last year in my September Pinterest character design video (in the 3rd image). I think they're probably friends and terrorize children together ✨
Anyways, I wanted to share this design because I'm already working on this project since this is another video in collaboration with Arrtx, and we're getting the project done early for an early October release! My pitch was to use a bunch of their super bright/florescent acrylic paint markers to make a bunch of super brightly colored fake candies and props for this build, so I'm very excited to come up with some silly fake candy names! (Feel free to suggest some below, I'll probably use them since this build is going to need a LOT of fake candies).
Anyways, expect a bunch of WIP posts of Cavity over the next couple weeks!

I am late to this post but I noticed you have essentially one giant bubble braid with eyeballs and I had a customer come in with that hair style during Halloween last year! I asked how they accomplished it and she told me that she used fake hair used for festivals braids and then strung ping pong balls in the middle of the bubble braid and painted eyeballs on them it was so cute and maybe worth considering to prevent a lot of weight!

Kira this is AMAZING. Random for Kira or someone who remembers. I believe that there was a promo in one of the videos for a hydraulic table. I am trying to find the brand of that table because I fell in love with it, but I can’t find that promo. It was probably a couple of years ago. I’m not looking for the promo code. I think the brand you're thinking of is Flexispot! The last collab I had with them was in my "sacrificing thrifted bedsheets to make a dress" video!
Ghoul gobbs: mysteriously flavored green-grey hard candy. Look horrific but you get a surprisingly good flavor each time. (Random flavors though since they all look the same on the outside)

We had our own candy monster growing comprised of all the uneaten candy my children have been accumulating. "Last Year's Candy", is that a flavor? Sweet'N Stales. Times have changed, when I was a kid, the candy got eaten, and yes I was often visited by Cavity.
It's not necessarily a "fake" name, but Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise would be fun little references to see if anyone catches them!
