Barbarian update! π₯
Okay we've got a big update this time!
I decided to go ahead and make my July video topic the matching weapons for this build, and I'm trying to go all out!
I'm working on an Ax and a flail to match β¨ I might make a little handheld plume of fire magic too if I have time!
I also decided to make the weapons magma/lava themed! The cracky texture of magma actually really helped with printing the ax head file (which I purchased from Honorecreations on Etsy ) because it meant I could slice it into super jagged bits for printing and when I reassemble it should help give me some cool lighting effects!
Speaking of lighting, I printed most of the ax head in hollowed out translucent PLA so I can stick LEDs inside π
I also wanted to challenge myself to learn a little more 3D work since I've been using so many community made models on this project, so I also picked up Nomad 3D last week and tried playing around with it a bit. I actually ADORE this program. It's very intuitive and I was able to sculpt a little decorative dragon for the ax in about a day!
Since I was on a roll, I also sculpted a gnarly hollowed out flail because I'm planning on sticking some LEDs inside that...and I also mayyy be building a few mini smoke machines for these props β¨
The smoke machines are still a WIP, hopefully I can pull it off, fingers crossed!
I also included a few other project updates here! I'm almost done painting my tail, I added a fur skirt to balance the silhouette, and I'm also almost done with the shin armor pieces!
This project has gone a whole journey but I feel like I'm finally nearing the end π
Okay more updates to come β¨
Also let me know if you want me to drop the 3D files I made as Patreon exclusives! They're a bit messy but they might come in handy for some of y'all!

So impressed already! Would love to hear more about Nomad 3D (I have no intention to work in 3D programs I just like to know stuff).
Those sculpts are amazing!! :0 I do a bit of 3D modelling (more focused on renders than the models themselves) in my spare time but I rarely sculpt β I am in absolute awe of you these are incredible ππππ
