Handmade Merch? ✨
So something I've been wanting to do for a REALLY long time is a small handmade merch drop featuring some linocut printing, small crochet pieces (think hair scarves, little bags, or earrings), and maybe some lil leather corset belts if I can figure out how to make that somewhat size inclusive.
I'm still brainstorming what type of items I want to include, so feel free to leave suggestions! I'm mostly looking for wearables or items that are somewhat useful, but I'll also definitely do some prints or bunting as well. Basically I want the merch to be pretty vague and something than anyone can appreciate! I think it's a cool way for people to own an original piece of art without it being crazy expensive too!
I guess I'm mostly trying to gauge who here would be interested in some merch! I'd love to introduce a merch tier to Patreon eventually, but I'm still trying to figure out the logistics of that. So this would be a bit of an experimental thing so see what kind of materials I would need for shipping and what kind of interest there is from viewers! I'd also probably offer this merch drop up to Patreon first, then to my larger audience. The goal is definitely to sell everything and not overproduce!
Let me know if y'all have any ideas for designs/items for a merch drop and if you'd be interested in purchasing some!

I would buy so many stickers from you! I'm not big into crochet items but I'd be tempted by something smol like say, a luna moth keychain.
Follow your dream cus obviously there’s a lot of interest, but personally I subscribed because I love seeing videos from you. I don’t really need more stuff and I would be sad if this endeavor pulls you away from making videos and I would rather have more/higher quality videos and longer build/draw times.
if you did an artbook or comic book I’d definitely go for that
I feel like you probably have a big overlap between your audience and people who play dnd/ttrpgs, so maybe you could make something like a dice bag? Linocut printed t-shirts could also be cool
I categorically cannot express how much I would love to get some of your lino print patches. It might also be another option for using up extra scraps - have the design picked out, but then say something like 'autumnal themed fabric' or 'cool toned fabric' so you have more wiggle room. Stickers would also be amazing. And I do like the idea someone mentioned of thrifting and printing on totes - there's no such thing as too many totes, I say as a person who crafts and is constantly needing bags for containment lol
Worbla scraps?
I don't leave comments and stuff a lot, but you're honestly one of my favorite creators which is why I'm here. I'd be over the moon to get some original merch!
It’s a great idea, a little something to bring whimsy to people! I think anything you have mentioned would be amazing merch! Little crochet pieces or the Lino cut prints sound great. Do small repeatable batches is a good way to start depending on the time you have or think about one off or limited numbers of items to keep the production tight.
I think the linocuts would be perfect! or some little clay/ceramic dealies
I would love magnets! They could either be from your art, things you say, or like your foam clay mushrooms - anything!
Oh yes little foam clay mushrooms would be so cool!
You could thrift some totes and lino print on those as well! Less waste, no worries on sizing, every one is unique,*and it's relatively quick to make a bunch!! Also, shawls/ capes/ loose vests/ scarves are another great thrift or make option for printing on! I LOVE your linocuts so much, especially the unicorn one. I would absolutely burst into stars upon receiving hand made original WEARABLE art from you!
I love the idea of a crochet bandana or bag or the earrings! Any of that would be super cute. I love your fashion and fashion pieces. You could have people order ahead so you aren't spreading yourself too thin or make too much, etc. (you probably already thought of this anyway!)
This would be wonderful! Linocut prints on paper and patches. Also crochet bandanas. Things that are easier for you to make when you need a break from the big projects. 😊
I would 100% love to buy some handmade merch! I love the idea of linocut printing especially on wearable items or maybe a sticker sheet
If youre going to make earrings and stuff like that, I know you use Pinterest a lot, but I would recommend trying to make them as original as possible. Something you yourself would wear, and it might sell more
I would love some of your lino prints on parchment paper so I could hang them in my "small artist" gallery wall. Patches would be good too as I have sever patch covered jackets that still have some room on them. 😁
Oooo I second the patches idea. Embroidery machines are expensive tho.
I am always down for stickers or sticker sheets! I love your art and I think that could be a very cool way to share it, but I don't know how difficult semi-mass production of things like that are 😗
Just a thought for the corset belts- I don't know how labor intensive those are since I've never made one myself, but you could use them as some kind of raffle! Then you would know ahead of time who it's going to and can potentially get some measurements to work off of!
