Do y'all care about a winter build in this hot spring soup???
Be BRUTALLY honest, I've been working on my winter witch build for a while now and I think it's spanned too far into the spring time, and I'm worried people don't really care right now. Should I just postpone the rest of this build until this next holiday/winter season? It isn't really that far off when I think about it, and it would give me a little more time to focus on details/flesh things out. It'll also mean the weather will be WAY more appropriate when I film the reveal and such! (It's already so hot here oh my god)
This past week I've been working on hand-embroidering some little details for the costume but the longer I work on this as a dedicated video the more I fee like it isn't substantial enough for the content on my channel and I need to pivot a bit. Most of what I can do for embroidery content is show a time lapse or some satisfying stitching footage, but I'm mostly using the same 3 stiches for this so I don't even think I have much commentary for y'all 😅
Do y'all think I should pivot to something else this week? If so, do you have any ✨seasonally relevant ✨ ideas?
I know a lot of you like slower dedicated content, but I also have to think about annoying things like video performance and channel analytics sigh 😤
Also sorry the sketchbook session isn't out yet! She's filmed, she just needs some voiceover so it will be out this weekend!

It sounds like you'd be happier quietly chipping away at winter witch in the background, and I think you're right! The video you posted today was phenomenal and 🌟spot on✨ I say trust your gut and pivot! Maybe make some flower armor? And I don't mean armor painted with flowers, I mean vines for chains, thorns for rivets, and big petal pauldrons energy 🌸🗡️
Def agree that fine to pivot and revisit, giving you time to work on the details and return when wintry times are upon us! I would love to see some spring flower themed content personally 💐
Take your time, we don't want you stressing just to appease us mortal viewers.
I would say don’t rush it. Embroidery takes time and this build is already amazing so take your time with it and make it exactly how you want it and that gives you space to further design the elements that you haven’t quite figured out yet. Plus you won’t melt into a puddle doing the reveal, there is nothing worse than wearing something you have put so much into and not enjoying because it’s too hot. But, if you want to go full steam ahead, go with what feels right for you!
I think if you are feeling rushed but want to do more, postpone posting about it so you can work on it slowly. If you are super absorbed in it and would be sad to set it aside, keep going with it! <3 love all your content despite weather and IRL season timelines :D
If you feel like pivoting and that you should take your time with the costume then do it! But I agree with the sentiment of everyone else idc I love watching what you make lol. For idea suggestions I know ren fair season is upon us so maybe any builds to flush out any costumes or maybe a video creating closet costumes or even restyling costumes into new ways? On a different note I have been traveling to the zoo and aquarium and drawing in real time and it has been a fun experience and a great exercise! I know you love nature so maybe doing a nature walk and doing like a sketchbook spread in the park and what you’re seeing almost field book style!
If anything i feel like this snap to hot weather has us missing the winter vibes!! BUT if you're not feeling inspired to do winter themed crafts then you should pivot! We love seeing the passion you bring to your projects, and honestly I watch your videos just as much for you as for the costumes and crafts lol
I know you’re chained to the algorithm lords so do what’s u gotta but personally the subject matter is irrelevant, I just love seeing you craft 🙌 also i’m from southern california so winter is a mythical phenomenon regardless lol. Since you keep talking about swamps I would love some swamp fairy content! Bring her out the bogs 🧚

Where's the option for "I'd watch anything in any season and enjoy it but also if you want to give yourself more time for this build and film the reveal when it's colder that's great too" ?

Maybe you could branch into some more fairy or cottagecore themes, to get into spring and then that can carry over into the summer season
I think it’s time to definitely pivot. And try to get back into regularly posting. I’m new to your channel and have only been watching since December but I’ve now seen every single video going back 4-5 years at least 3 times, lol.
I will absolutely watch the rest of the build now, but if you feel like it's better to wait for your process then do it. You know your art process better than us and sometimes taking a step back genuinely helps
I am weird and don't have a lot of attachment to your projects being released as seasonally appropriate times. That said, I don't want you to melt; maybe revisiting and completing the outfit later would help out with that.
I think that saving the winter stuff for more appropriate weather would be good so's you don't get a heat stroke under all those blankets and stuff. Seasonally relevant... some sort of stash busting project like a 'spring cleaning' type deal? Or really anything with flowers... a spooky spring bob ross?
And I guess as an alternate suggestion for a video if you're interested, you could make/sculpt magical critter eggs! Like dragon, selkie, or whatever catches your fancy, especially with Easter coming up! You always seem to have so much fun with your sculpting projects, just a thought!
I wish there was a third option like perhaps?? lol. I definitely wouldn’t mind watching it but the algorithm would probably make it do better in a seasonally appropriate time. Plus then you’re not sweating to death in the reveal video lol
I mean, I PERSONALLY think you're good but I also enjoy your content enough to sub to a Patreon and literally beg for unedited long form content. What you COULD do, is(if you filmed it) put your embroidery footage up here as a minimally edited bonus video for the weirdos like me who would absolutely watch a quiet 2 hour long video of the same 3 embroidery stitches, and let lose your brain goblins in another direction 🥰
