hi, I'm a fairly new Patreon! I love your videos so much, it's so inspiring. I love all of the merch ideas, especially stickers 😍. And I'm also going to the Tennessee Renaissance festival! it would make my entire year if I saw you there😄

Loved this, felt like just relaxing with a good friend 🧡 ive been following for a few years now and your videos helped me stay sane through law school. They gave me something to look forward at the end of the night to unwind. Your personality and creativity are such a wonderful refreshing change of pace in this world. Im currently studying for the bar exam now and I'm way over stressed as its at the end of next month. So I appreciate all the wonderful content you have to spare us. As far as a second channel, I think posting videos with a 6 month delay is a great idea along with more art based videos. Being able to create a second revenue source for yourself without wearing yourself out is a great idea. I would also love some stickers with the membership!!

Loved this format! I think the rambly format would be great for a live. (Can you imagine the peanut gallery we would make in a live chat! This community is awesome. :D

I would adore live streaming but unfortunately there isn't any Internet service in my area good enough to do it 😭 I'm going to move eventually and I'll probably have better Internet then haha

I’ve been trying to do more art (particularly water colors) and I just get so frustrated because it never turns out like I want it to 😂 I was never an artsy person growing up but as I’ve gotten older I lean more into my creative side. Any advice or encouragement for young (or new) artists?

If you're struggling particularly with watercolor, if you haven't already, maybe try to find some watercolor artists with the style/look you're trying to go for and see if they have YouTube videos with real time footage of them painting or tutorials of their method. Watercolor works and a very particular way and it takes a while to learn how to get certain effects. I find that watching someone else do the technique always helps me grasp it. Also, if you haven't studied watercolor fundamentals, that will also help! Just look it up on YouTube and you should find some good videos. I hope this helps!

This is a delightful video and while I'm not crafting and watching, I am plotting how to rearrange a gallery wall, which does require some of the same brain cells lol Format-wise, this is enjoyable to just listen to your ramblings, and it's nice to have the small bits of information for artists (like the small monologue about The Joys of Alcohol Markers) and just the... positive vibes that are coming through on what you're talking about? As a patron for over a year, I think that using a secondary channel for the patron videos, and then releasing them 6 months later for regular viewers makes sense - you can drop a short mention of what you're doing for the patrons in your regular videos, sort of as a sneak preview and hook for potential patrons ['Hey I'm doing a video for patrons about this topic, if you want to see it sooner than six months consider joining my patreon' or something better worded lol]. Or maybe a shortened video, with the extended version a patron-only thing. Or doing actual shorts of the patron stuff, with a 'coming to regular viewers on [date]' or 'join my patreon for the full video' type deal. The main thing is, having more money is going to make things easier on you, and if you've already made a video for your patrons, making some extra money on it in the future when you might need it can really come in the clutch if, for instance, your sewing machine chooses death again or you want to try another craft that might be more costly. Another thought for bringing in more money is something similar to what Jazza's latest video was talking about, where he talked about making a limited run of prints for his oil painting, and auctioning off the original. I don't know how much you make regularly from your prints, but something like the limited run of prints might be cool. Or using some of your little sketches that you're particularly attached to, and turning them into stickers? Hell, that could be a patron video idea right there - designing new stickers to sell, talking through the process, what makes you want to use a particular image, etc. I may have more thoughts as I finish the video I just wanted to get these out while my brain was able to hold on to them [Team Goldfish Memory yaaye ;-;]

I am so excited by these sessions! *trying my best* to get into character art this year and your style is my biggest inspiration. So having these longer process videos is so helpful ❤️ Also, I personally feel no need to have the live talking- the voice over is great (especially if it's easier for you!) 😊
