Mothman legs!

I don't have a super interesting WIP of my Mothman legs yet, but I'm happy to report after a lot of machining (and literally taking pieces to the machine shop to have them do it because our fricken drill press is broken), the parts are FINALLY ready to be assembled!

I'm extremely nervous about the next stage of the process and how it's gonna go, but hopefully everything will come together 😅 I'm super excited to slowly become my mothy boy.

Also, for anyone curious about the massive project delays on this one, I decided to be realistic for once and take way more time on this costume 😅 I'm basically not giving myself a firm deadline on this one since I want it to be so complicated and I'm still figuring out some of the mechanisms for the wings and such.

It's a bit of a pipe dream, but I would fricken LOVE to wear this to the Mothman festival in September next year 😍 I think it would be so incredibly cool. Maybe I can make it happen ✨

Finishing these bad boys up is my project for this week, so more to come!!
