Notes on UFC 329
A beefier Robert Whittaker, a trickier Mario Bautista, and a brand new boxing based heartthrob in John Garza.

I was worried, but I'm here for the Robert Thicctaker run, however long it lasts.
Was rereading old articles and Slacky nailed it in the Tom Aspinall article “Then when he has his man hurt, Gane opens up to swing in a way that is downright farcical. He looks as though he is on ice skates and the harder he tries to hit, the less powerfully he seems to connect. He often ends up finishing the job by hitting the opponent in the back of the head and assuming—correctly—that the referee will call the stoppage before the foul.” Best 5 bucks a month I’ll ever spend
Slacky was right. Garza’s got some thighs on him.
I hope Connor continues his "Tis just a scratch skit" in his next fight. The Black Knight still has 2 arms left.
I saw in the URL "Bobby Chubbles". lol. Whittaker was one of my favorite active fighters, and he even answered some of my questions during a live stream once when he used to appear on his former coach's YouTube channel (Grange TV?). I still root for him to win, and was super excited when he stopped Aliskerov and Krylov, but man . . . I always feel nervous watching his fights, hoping he doesn't get rocked.
