Ashe 1.4 + Asherana 1.1: Targeting October 23–24!

Hey fam!

Following up on last week’s update, I’m now aiming to release Ashe 1.4 and the Asherana banter update together for Patreon members on Friday or Saturday, October 23–24. I’m keeping the exact day open while I work through the remaining fixes and final checks.

Since the October 10 post, I’ve been doing extensive hands-on playtesting of both updates. Some higher-priority bugs have come up, but so far, nothing I’d currently consider a hard release blocker. There’s still work to do, and this next week gives me time to address it—and film some promo stuff while I’m at it!

I’m really happy with how this update has turned out. There’s a whole lot of quest commentary, including Daedric quests and Skyrim’s Main Quest, even more banter, and plenty of other content. Future banter expansions might finally slow down a little; at this point, I’m pretty sure these two are Skyrim’s chattiest pair hahaha. There’s enough variety here that one post can’t really do the whole Ashe update justice.

If you’ve been holding off on another playthrough, next week’s early access release could be a good time to jump back in. And if you’ve already played through her opening a few times, there’s now a repeat-playthrough option to recruit her for free and skip the prologue, taking you straight to the start of Chapter 1!

The goal for Patreon Early Access is a stable, release-quality build - something you can settle into and enjoy. That doesn’t mean I’ll catch every bug beforehand, and reports from your playthroughs will still help.

SDA’s own EA gives me some confidence here: in my experience, only one or two noticeable bugs came up during that stage. Between that experience and the testing I’m doing now, I’m comfortable proceeding without adding a separate playtest-only release.

I’ve already filmed plenty of footage, with more to come, and I’m planning one or two YouTube showcases to give you a fuller look.
